All new Hasbro Studios animated projects are being produced out of Ireland under Boulder Media (which Hasbro owns), including the new Transformers CGI film franchise that is likely replacing the Michael Bay ones after Bumblebee. Their shows are pretty good, so I think if they get Power Rangers, it'll be in safe hands.
Granted the only thing I've seen of theirs that's remotely similar to Power Rangers is the trailer for their new rebooted Transformers TV series, but that trailer alone was better than anything Saban Brands has produced in its lifetime, so my point stands. |

What is 'safe in someone's hands' is entirely subjective. |
Saban brands could be used by Hasbro too.

Interesting reading here.
Animated Power Rangers.... I really cannot see it. I feel Hasbro wants to utilyze the live action Power Rangers based on nothing but they would alienate the existing fans and a poor biz decision. I do think Hasbro will reboot the Rangers as Hasbro REALLY wants a shared universe. I imagine, they envision Power Rangers, Transformers and GI Joe sharing something withing the next 5 years. I can see why people wounder if it may be animated, but I assume it's about diversifying your "portfolio." Live action appeals to some, where animation does not and vice versa. |
I wonder if Hasbro will try and make Kamen Rider work in America. I mean if you think about it, it’s still not Saban.
