As a rule, most campaign items (which are not explicitly labeled as DX) are not DX, even if only nominally. The PMAX Gashat, Build Gashat, Lock Fullbottle, none of these are actually DX items, even if they mostly work as such. The promos that advertise for them usually make a point of including a disclaimer that their specifications differ from those of the DX series products in some way. The Cross-Z watch is no different, although yeah, it seems like it's farther apart from the DX versions than previous campaign items have been. I suspected no lights since it hadn't been shown, but the stuff with the sounds is kind of weird. Will have to see more reviews.

This one used the Cross-Z one, flipping the Driver doesn't make it say sounds but pushing the top for the finisher made it yell Armour Time

Most Campaign stuff isn’t DX just like the Hammer Dial for example
Although It seems rather odd to make Cross-Z a non DX watch when Grease is a P-Bandai DX
I think the Lock Bottle was DX as Most reviews have listed as DX

That's what I mean by the difference sometimes being nominal. In the case of the Lock bottle, there isn't any difference (unlike the electronic items, there was no disclaimer on its campaign stuff, which I guess makes sense) but it was still never labelled as DX in any official material. I don't know why they did it that way at least for this one, I guess it's just how they operate with the campaign stuff even when it does match the DX.

Aaaaaand all of a sudden my urgent need to have that RideWatch goes out of the window...

EDIT: I liked the way this was handled for Ex-Aid with the campaign items all being Proto Gashats. That way it's still a unique product, but it didn't interfere with regular versions of those Gashats being released at retail. The release of this item pretty much guarantees that we won't see a DX-quality Cross-Z RideWatch at all.

But he didn't have to push the button on the other Ridewatches for the Armour Time, and those lit up while Cross-Z didn't. He didn't cock up, the Cross-Z Ridewatch isn't a DX one, simple as that. I'm the kind of fucking idiot who's going to buy that overpriced New World set just for Muscle Galaxy, but not this, I'm content with not getting this

So apparently Geiz and Zi-O have armor time sounds for themselves when their ride watches are inserted upside down in the armor time slot. Though it seems to work better when it's Geiz used upside down, cause the video above showing Zi-O armor time to geiz was a mess of sounds.
