They're willing to put a her in the spotlight, but not that willing to spend the budget on giving her more toys than necessary, and are now waiting to see how her first quarter sales fare before they give her more.

It was based primarily on a seemingly otherwise-accurate leak that got misconstrued. It said that Zi-O being a female Rider was something Toei had considered during the design process, and several people (myself included) mistook that for indicating that Zi-O would be a female Rider.

So instead of chestplates, we're going on eye shapes now? Again, not entirely a solid enough argument for me to solidly assume that Valkyrie is a female Rider. And remember, everyone said that the pose that Zi-O had in the beginning looked feminine, so that's kinda not enough for me to assume, either.





Most tertiary Riders don't really get upgrades all that often, so it's really not out of the ordinary that Valkyrie doesn't have many.

Again, I'm cool with the idea that Valkyrie is a female Rider because I'm always down for more of them, but I don't think it's a good idea to just assume that's the case when we really don't have a lot of clear pictures nor official information about it. So until the official conference for the reveal, I'm not gonna hold my breath and hope for them being a her.

As for the eyes, anime often gives girls 'sharp' eyes and they have a similar shape to the last toku girl with a cheetah motive, especially the leaked symbols as they added a line for the face there
