How do you know that?

OK, some new listings have surfaced!

Our main Mecha is "ZenkaiOh," the main weapon/changer is the "GearTlinger" and the collectible is apparently "Sentai Gear."

So chances are Zenkaiger might be similar to Gokaiger, only utilizing past sentai weapons and gear instead of outright turning into them.

Seeing as they're the 45th team, it'd make sense.

So we're totally getting a Premium Bandai Neo Mobirate, right? :lol

Why am I not surprised?

Sentai Gear? I wonder if they going to be like the Ranger Keys but gear version?

Sentai Gear definitely sounds interesting! Assuming they work like Ranger Keys, I'm imagining that the teeth of the gear correspond with a team member, so depending on how it'd turn when inserted into the transformation device, the Zenkaiger would transform into the corresponding teammember... unless they go full on Ranger Key and there's one for each character... Oh boy, I'll feel real bad for completionists if they do that route again!

All rumors so far have pointed to a full-blown sentai anniversary season along the lines of Gokaiger, so you're probably right there, but I highly, highly, highly doubt the only link to past sentai will be weapons and gear. In this case, "sentai gear" is almost certainly referring to a literal gear, like a component in a machine, not gear as in "the stuff the rangers carry." Which makes sense given the fact that they're called "Machine World" Sentai Zenkaiger.

Recent, reliable rumors have pointed to each ranger somehow being based on a different mech gattai from the past (specifically: GaoKing, Daizyujin, Daibouken, MagiKing, and something referred to only as "Mach," which is expected to be an original-mech-theme for the new red ranger), and that the rangers might resemble the Metal Heroes from B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto, in that they will be more bulky and armored than usual.

The weapon/changer being a gatling gun implies that multiple shots of the weapon can be fired in rapid succession. Maybe each "sentai gear" is comprised of a whole sentai team's mecha arsenal, and each ranger can load them into the Geartlinger to use the combined powers of a series' mecha. Or maybe they'll be able to mix and match different teams' mecha into each ranger, with modular armor pieces or something.

Based on the steady drip of details trickling out -- machine world, gears, hints at rangers based on past mecha gattais -- I am nearly certain we're getting a season that thoroughly integrates previous sentai teams' mecha rather than a team that just uses past teams' weapons. This is all speculation, though.
