Less superficially, I also think Ogami's actor brings a great energy to his role that makes you believe there's some depth there despite how straightforward and simple the material he's been given is. It's a very convincing performance. I mean, he comes to pick up his kid from school or whatever in this one fully armed and I didn't even stop to question how weird that must look to passersby at first. :lol |

hahha. I agree with all your comments. I know I possibly have a reputation for being stern about what I see to be the show's failings, but I like to think I'm also considered fair though, as when I like something, I go out of my way to talk about how much I like it, and I really, really like Buster, and I really think his actor makes him thoroughly come alive in a way that is charming and inspiring, and genuinely makes me think of Fujioka Hiroshi's performance... as Segata Sanshiro. :p No, really, I think there's a lot of callbacks to the mannerisms and charms of Hongo Takeshi in the way Buster is portrayed, and I love that, because it's almost the suggestion of what some of those older characters might have been like after the fall of Shocker, and Badan, and Gorgom, and Google, and every other evil organisation, and what they might have been like if they'd just been allowed to settle down and raise families too. I've hijacked this thread, sorry. tl;dr I think Buster is great. *rips off her jacket to reveal a t-shirt declaring "I <3 OOGAMI RYO."* |

Forgive me this following reaction: when Daishinji's character was first introduced in the show, I literally squealed with mirth and delight at the prospect of young, unsuspecting people opening google and typing the words, "Kamen Rider slash." |
Me, a fan of everyone; and whose favourites are Tassel and Ren:

I have been trying so hard to be as big a fan of Kenzan as I am of all the others, but he's yet to click with me on any visceral level. I legitimately like just about everything they're doing with him conceptually, even; he just refuses to make me feel things. I did think the "Maji!? Nai~ wa..." bit at the start of this episode was pretty cute, though. |
