Wow that looks amazing!
At a base level, the increased articulation from minipla kits really make the Sentai Robos pose a lot better, but here the tweaks to the proportion of parts make GaoKing look super fresh. It's a lot more apparent on the more organic shaped robos like GaoKing. |
By the way, have we seen any of the Zenkaiger Minipla yet?
Aren't they coming out very soon? |

Okay, so this looks really cool, and I kinda want it a little, but I've never gotten something like this before.
I know these are model kits, but what else do I need to know about Minipla before I decide if I should get one? How much do they cost, how good you need to be at model kits, etc. |

But the kits are extraordinary and often become elusive collector's items. They have articulation that DX toys can only dream of, while maintaining excellent combination gimmicks. You don't need much experience with model kits in order to make these kits. Bandai model kits are generally very beginner friendly. In fact, you really only need a decent pair of nippers and you're good to go. There's no glue required. However, some minipla kits, depending on the design have really small parts that you either could lose easily or break if you're not careful. For example, the Dancouga minipla kit uses a lot of thin and long gun barrels. The Kiramager minipla kit had tiny wheels. |
The individual mechs all look awesome, but something about the combined form just seems a bit...off...
Anyways, I've never watched Gaoranger and I'm not particularly fond of its design, so I'll be skipping this one. |
I was curious if they'd keep the wheels on the Bison. Looks like that worthless extra mode will be included :lol
