When I think of Gotchard I think of Gotcha + Card, which brings to memory Goseiger, with a card theme and the Tensouder making the sound Gotcha!

But anyway, I do agree this could go anywhere, but I do think a card gimmick would be fun, despite how simple it is. However, the name also kind of reminds me of the "Gacchan!" sound from Ex-Aid, so maybe another Video Game theme?

I'm not going to go too deep into speculations, since I'd rather wait for official stuff coming out, and I know I'd be wrong in anything I predict anyway (ha ha ha), so I'm just going to have fun with Geats while occasionally commenting on any interesting ideas and rumors that circulate around.

It would be funny if this turned out to be Inoue repeating Jetman but with Kamen Rider. And for good measure Tsuyoshi from DonBrothers and Gai from Jetman makes a cameo. :lolol

If it is a pun on "Gotcha" and "Card"... I would like the idea that others have said that they could be capturing the monsters in cards, though to me that sounds less Digimon, Pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh!, and more like Card Captor Sakura lol

That does sound fun. Though, personally I'm not a fan of collecting Card gimmicks so I'm not sure how interested I would be in the toy line, the show could still be cool though regardless ofc

Since we remembered Card Captor Sakura the , I'll add a little flood. In one of the games based on the anime, the task of the player in the role of Sakura's friend is to film her battles with monsters. Personally, I find it very funny from the very concept that you need to play not as a heroine, but as a support character.

It's actually based on the Gotchard, from the Germanic poem "Beowulf", who becomes King of the Gotchards.
