Kamen Rider Similarities Tourney 1, Battle 4- Sword using Kaijin?
 

Since they came in second place in their respective threads, OOO and Den-O have a second chance at getting into the semifinals! The riders taking part in Battle 4 are-

Kamen Rider Sasword (2006, Kamen Rider Kabuto)

VS

Kamen Rider Den-O (2007)

Strengths and weakness-
Sasword

• Can shift from Masked form to Rider Form, damaging opponent with the corresponding "Cast Off"
• Can Clock Up
• Henshin Device doubles as primary weapon, Sasword Zector can attack opponents
• Can sting opponents with the Sasword Antenna
• Can bind opponents with the Masked Form's "Blood Vessel" tubes
• Can transform into the Scorpio Worm, whose stinger can force other Worms into their human forms (this ability is irrelevant in this battle)
• Weaknesses/Disadvantages- Zecter can be taken from him, especially when in the Sasword Yaiba henshin device, turning into Scorpio Worm can cause him to rampage, tends to be overconfident

Den-O:

• Has 9 different forms, each with their own skills
• Wields the Den-Gasher, a weapon with multiple weapon configurations
• Can travel through time with the Den-Liner, which has multiple powers in each train car.
• Sword Form is commonly used fighting form, and the most balanced form
• Rod Form can swim and breath underwater, has increased kicking power
• Axe Form has increased strength and defense, but loses speed
• Gun Form has speed, strength and defense, but tends to be wild and causes more damage than needed.
• Wing Form dual wields and has more agility than Gun Form
• Liner Form is the most powerful form the Rider can take when Imagin are incapacitated, able to use the Den-Kamen sword to communicate with them
• Most Powerful Form: Climax (TV), Super Climax (Movies)
• Climax is a balance of all the Imagin's powers combined, giving him mulitple finishers
• Super Climax allows him to fly, and grants him more power
• Weakness: Can't use other forms if Imagin are incapacitated, can't henshin if Rider Pass is taken from him. Imagin may fight against themselves, causing Den-O to switch forms or lose access to his other forms if their fighting continues.

OOO:

• Has 137 combos (125 random, 5 main, 1 midseason upgrade, 1 Super Mode (PuToTyra), 1 Eleventh Hour Superpower (Super TaToBa), 2 special (TaMaShii and BuraKaWani), 2 alternative {with Kangaroo Medal}) possible due to mix-and-matching core medals
• Can revive any Rider turned into a core medal via Scanning charge.
• RideVendor, which comes in multiples; ToRideVendor can absorb excess energy from RaToraTah combo and allow him to function properly.
• Can turn into a one man army via GataKiriBa combo, or turn into each of his Single colored Combos (and TaToBa) by granting enough of the GataKiriBa clones the Core Medals needed
• RaToraTah can blind and scorch opponents with the light it radiates, and can run at super speed

True, but he also uses a sword as Climax and Liner Form. And then there's that one time when Zeronos gave him the ZeroGasher Sabre Mode while he was stuck in Plat Form right before Liner Form's debut. That counts, right?

I also voted for OOO. If nothing else, it will totally justify all the Medajaliburs that the Figuarts completists have sitting around.

Well, honestly, he just has to go Super TaToBa, which can allow him to momentarily stop time, so he could just fight Sasword on even terms while Den-O stands there looking at a blur lol

I don't think super tatoba really counts though =p Unless it's future OOO/Eijii, but then he'd have a totally separate set of forms and medals.

I vote OOO again anyway, he has enough abilities to mix and match to keep up with the other two =]

We saw him get the Super TaToBa medals in the movie, but we never did see him give them back ;P lol

So our first semifinals match is between:

Strengths and weaknesses:
Decade:

• Can turn into any previous rider before him and utilize their powers
• Can destroy Undead and enter the Mirror World without an Advent deck
• Machine Decader can turn into previous bikes
• Most Powerful form: Complete form
• Complete form can summon the other Heisei Rider's most powerful forms or turn them into them.
• Can turn other Heisei Rider's into their FFR forms, however this is irrelevant in this battle.
• Can destroy other worlds, irrelevant in this battle.
• Weakness: Belt can be removed from him, Ride Booker that contains his cards can be taken from him. When he summons the most Powerful form of another rider, he can only summon one at a time and has to keep pressing and removing the Ktouch. The Rider can only mimic Decade's actions

Kabuto:

• When first transforming, Zecter can defend Kabuto, Masked form armor can be ejected and cause damage
• Can Clock Up- allowing him to move faster than the eye can see
• Most Powerful Form: Hyper Kabuto
• In Hyper Kabuto form, can hyper clock up, allowing him to move faster than before
• In Hyper Form, can use the Perfect Zecter, allowing him to summon other Zecters to him and utilize their powers for the Maximum Hyper
• Kabuto Extender is his Rider Machine, able to switch from the fast Masked Mode to the offensive-oriented Ex Mode
• Weakness- Requires the Zecter to henshin. If incapacitated, can't transform. Tends to be overconfident at times.

Decade. Call on past riders, and Gackt did the theme song. How do you get cooler than that?

Kabuto, because hyper Kabuto is a thing of beauty, plus dat speed and the awesome gun/sword that is hyper zecter.

Against the Decade Kabuto or any other Kabuto Rider, I'd probably give the edge to Decade. But up against Tendou Souji, the man who walks the path of heaven? I'd have to give that one to Kabuto. He's just straight up a better fighter.

Hyper Clock Up allows Tendou to travel through time.
That was it's first official action.
While I was all gung ho about OOO being superior to Decade, there is literally nothing Decade can do to Kabuto except maybe inconvenience him.

Sorry, Tendou. You're cool, but Decade takes the cake for this round.

It's bad enough that Tendou somehow became the main character of Kamen Rider Gattack. His dickery can go no further, Decade would wipe the floor with him.

Please, explain how. I honestly want to know.

As I explained when Decade was up against OOO I'm of the opinion that Decade is the strongest. His existence alters realities, he can become previous Hesei Riders and use all their abilities (negating any advantage a rider would have against him as it evens the field), in complete form he can summon the final forms of the 9 Heisei Riders to do their final finishers. I'm baffled as to why his victory in any matchup isn't assured. With his power set he'd almost be assured to win, no one has to agree with me that's just how I feel. Because of the way in which his powers work and what he can do I don't think he would lose.

Decade can summon his own Hyper Kabuto and do Maximum Hyper Typhoon or Cyclone.
Kabuto can turn himself into Hyper Kabuto and travel through time. It should be checkmate right there.

Going further, I just can't see how Decade stands a chance against Kabuto.
There are Riders physically stronger than Kabuto, yes, but the only way to use their powers, he has to change into them, thus removing his only defense to Kabuto's clock up (Pretty much locking Decade into using Kabuto or Faiz Accel).
Here's the thing. Decade's only possible chance at beating Kabuto is to beat him at his own game. And Kabuto curbstomped his evil twin with the same weapons and powers. Hell, his only loss is because he was too busy angsting over Hiyori to focus, and she's not a factor here.

Decade is strong, but I cannot see how he even measures up anywhere near the level Kabuto is at.
As Frieza put it, Decade could punch a board and it would break in half. Kabuto could punch a board and kill it's entire race.

Kabuto would just be too fast, he'd go Hyper and Decade wouldn't be able to touch him. And if you really want to be pedantic, Hyper Kabuto can travel back from the future to help himself in the battle too, so decade is then outnumbered =]

I feel that I must tell you all, we are dealing with the Original Heisei Riders, not the AR Versions.

Decade kinda has to win by the pure strength of Inoue-based plot devices.
But yeah, considering Decade can turn himself into Kabuto and more, I think it's a fairly obvious outcome.

How?
How does being able to transform into Kabuto make him better than Kabuto himself?
How does being able to transform into any other Rider (Thus removing the one ability that lets him survive Kabuto's clock up) give him any sort of advantage whatsoever?
What can Decade do that gives him ANY sort of advantage whatsoever against Kabuto?

ANY and EVERY power advantage Decade can get (Kuuga, Agito, etc) is immediately mitigated by the fact that he instantly loses the ability to keep up with Kabuto's Clock Up.
And Kabuto is already effectively IMMORTAL.
When the Hyper Zector was destroyed, what did he do? HE PULLED IT FROM A POINT IN TIME FROM BEFORE IT WAS DESTROYED.

Decade literally has TWO options when it comes to fighting Kabuto.
Attack Ride: Kabuto (Which also default transforms him into Kabuto) and Form Ride: Faiz Accel. Everything else means Kabuto can and will kick his face to the curb.

Hell, Decade Complete lowers his chances even further! He ONLY gets their final attack, but he doesn't get Hyper Kabuto's Hyper Clock Up (Which can STOP and REVERSE time).

Speaking of Hyper Kabuto's Hyper Clock Up, did I mention that it can, you know, STOP TIME? Because that's a pretty big factor.

I think that the first 9 voters all thought that Decade was fighting AR Kabuto, sorry bud

I'm pretty sure everyone realized which Kabuto it is. I'd say they don't assume that it's a version of Kabuto who was only featured in 2 episodes properly and then a bunch of cameo appearances in movies. As vehemently as you guys think Kabuto should win we thought it should be Decade.
