I managed to defeat two of his Pokémon in all the matches combined, and I haven't lost one yet.

Lucy's my baby, so thank you :D . Funny and sad story about her; she's the daughter of the original Lucy I had. You see, I hatched a Riolu egg in HeartGold, and that was the first Lucy, a shiny Riolu. I trained her everyday, and managed to get her to Level 100. I decided to breed her, and traded the eggs to all my other games. Sadly, tragedy struck. My HeartGold crashed, and she was lost :cry. Restarting, I decided to trade one of her eggs to HeartGold. From it hatched- you can probably guess- the 2nd Lucy, another shiny Riolu who inherited one of her father's egg moves. And she's still with me to this day :).

Well that's a great bit of good luck! Luckily you had eggs or she would be gone forever.

And it was only that one egg that hatched into the second Lucy. All the other eggs hatched into normal Riolus.

Wow...but that's amazing that you managed to hatch another shiny!
