I've been watching Ninja Storm...it's okay-ish. For everything good there's something bad. For every Cam there's a Dustin. Still, it's watchable.

I watched Jungle Fury.
I liked RJ.
I must've missed something, though. I never found him as good as everyone else does.

I'm with Locke on this one. Jungle Fury is better, and it's not just because of the Awesomeness of RJ. They were all really good that season.

I just enjoy any Power Rangers season that focuses on a plot and characters and Jungle Fury has really well established characters, villains, motivations, flaws etc

It sounds like a given but it's surprising just how many Power Rangers seasons, watching them as an adult, feel so slapped together with barely anything in an episode having any cause and effect to any episode that came after it. That is part of the reason why I found Dino Thunder so unwatchable toward the end.

I actually really like Ninja Storm, it did annoy me that they focused on comedy more than conflict but it was a lot of fun.

Why is everyone spoilering these statements?

Well, truth be told the only one I couldn't stand was Lily, the other 3 I just found very forgettable.

The spirit rangers were awesome though.

To be fair out of the main three Theo was the one I liked the least.

Lily was kind, full of heart and acted like a big sister to the team but unlike many Toku characters like this, she can actually kick loads of ass and hold her own.

Casey basically spent the series finding himself and growing and I'm a sucker for that shit.

Then Theo is defined by how perfect he is and his arc basically involves him becoming less of a stuck up douche, so yeah I had to wait further down his arc to warm to him.

I might just re-watch Jungle Fury to see if it's better than Geki, now.

Theo takes time to develop. But luckily the show focuses more on Casey and Lily, and that's very awesome. Plus RJ. RJ MAN RJ!

RJ is totally one of the most awesome rangers ever! I even made a music video for him. One of the best reasons to watch Jungle Fury.

I tried to watch Jungle Fury when as it was airing and didn't really care for it. It seemed like Dai Shi's generals were switching out on a weekly base and it made the story hard to follow if you missed a week or two.

A few months ago I maranthoned it off Netflix and found that I really enjoyed the show. It had it's flaws but it was still a fun, upbeat season. It kind of takes a while for the story line for the season to get anywhere but I found the conclusion to be pretty satisfactory. The acting was pretty decent across the board which is rare for a ranger series. I thought that the shark, elephant, and bat masters were all really well cast and were my favorite characters of the season.

So much Power Rangers today, from Alien Rangers to Zeo to Turbo to Megaforce. Enjoyed what I saw.

I forgot to say last time, anyone else find episode six of Jungle Fury really disturbing?

It wasn't so much the monster love, but as Toady was about to be destroyed by the cannon, he actually sounded truly terrified of death. But after that when...the scorpion chick started wailing in despair, I just realised the Rangers had killed her lover, then went and killed her.

I know they're evil but by actually playing their emotions I was left feeling like it wasn't very superheroic of the Rangers at all.

Up to episode 24 of Beetleborgs.

Okay, nostalgia is wearing off and I'm getting bored with the show a bit now :lol Only a few more episodes to go until the Shadowborg arc though, which is what sold the show to me as a kid. Really looking forward to that since the Beetleborgs will actually be the main focus for once.

My nostalgia for the Beetleborgs died after episode 3.

I didn't even make it past the first episode, it's amazing how much Toku from my childhood has either aged horribly or was just garbage in the first place.

About the only thing I can still stand is VR Troopers because it's like MMPR on steroids.

I was too afraid to re-watch VR Troopers after the terrible revisits of Masked Rider and Beetleborgs :lol

Well because so much footage is just kinda thrown together in this patchwork quilt of violence, slipped in between melodramatic backstories and a ridiculous virtual reality anchor it's insane and awesome all at the same time.

I hated VR Troopers as a kid so I'm holding off sitting through it for as long as I possibly can. I plan to try it eventually out of interest, but right after I've finished both Beetleborgs seasons, Dragon Knight and Super Human Samurai Syber Squad.

And I'd still take Beetleborgs over Masked Rider any day. Rewatching Masked Rider was the most painful thing I've done in a long time :lol

How is it that every other Saban property is either on Netflix or getting a DVD release but we haven't heard anything about the one original show they made.

loved beetleborgs as a kid but got its awful as an adult. i miss mystic knights and shss squad. makes me wonder how badly tatooed teenage alien fighters has aged. that show was bad as a kid...wonder how it is now.

Master Phant has to be one of my new favourite Power Rangers characters, gotta love bitter old men with super powers.

I tried watching any an episode of ttaf a while back and boy is it terrible. It makes BBBB look really good, if that says anything.

Watched Megaforce episode 5, and well Troy, Noah, and Jake have been awesome so far.

Emma is alright, and I seriously don't understand the obsession with Gia so far, I mean sure she's hot but she's been a fake, bitch so far.

Emma is the only member of the Megaforce team I dislike. Jake isn't much better but at least he is fun. And although Gray can't act worth a damn, that doesn't mean Troy himself isn't an interesting character, his performance just doesn't do the character justice.

My favourites are Noah and Gia though.

My favorites are Jake, Robo Knight and Noah so far, I like Troy and Emma too. Still need to see more about Gia.

I am slowly liking everyone after about 6 episodes in except Gia. Emma has such a lovely voice and a good actress. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I dislike Emma because there is just nothing to her. Her acting sucks, her character is paper thin and she was chosen to be a ranger because...she can ride a bike? Wut?

She can ride a bike and respects nature. Why were any of these rangers picked? It's trying to be like Mighty Morphin', why were any of them really picked? Emma is one of the better actresses on here, she talks well, smiles, shows expression.
