Well they were selling him for $200 cheaper than BBTS. lol I was on the fence about it cause the #45 and I wanted to wait for the #23 version but I just couldnt resist...Overall it a pretty nice figure. His body is kinda like Hottoys but with ratchet joints for elbows and knees. His shirt, short,ball and the shoes are pretty close to the real thing. I want them to make Shaq but their next Lebron, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Jeremy Lin and Blake Griffin (don't even know why him...).

It was pretty cool. I felt bad for Catherine Sutherland as not a whole lot of people went over to meet her. I also met Brandon Routh and Ernie Hudson. Both were really cool. Wish I could've met Nathan Fillon but he had to cancel last minute. Overall it was a good con!

Curious to know how much you paid for the Megazord and Dragonzord.

A lot haha. Both were un-touched and basically MISB but had been opened by the vendor to make sure everything was intact (they bought an entire collection from one person). Total cost was $400 for both. They also had a MISB Titanus but he was $300 by himself so I had to pass.

Yikes. Were the owners aware that JDF was attending the con?

The vendor was definitely aware (they brought a bunch of Tommy related items as well). I had always wanted the Dragonzord when I was a kid and couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the box signed by JDF.

i hope i find something just as good at Comicpalooza.

My Japanese colleague at work went back home to Osaka for a long weekend to visit his folks. While being a hardcore Universal Century Gundam guy he did ask if I wanted anything in particular from Japan. I have jokingly asked if he could score me a S.H. Figuarts Manugiga, showed him pictures and everything but thought nothing of it. So he comes into the office today back from Nippon and hands me a black plastic bag with a glint in his eye. Lo and behold:

It looks and feels great. And despite him buying it for 8400 Yen he told me that 50 Singapore Dollars covered it in a true act of a Senpai looking out for his Kohai. Thanks Kenta Hakasei. Will post some pictures with Zolda soon but with this and Genocider already in my collection I can truly say my Mirror Monster itch is scratched.

Magnugiga was fairly affordable at release being around 4000 or so but he (and Genocider) have gone up significantly. On the big oversized figures like this, I suggest jumping on them at release, it helps guarantee the price doesn't jump.

Bought and received SHF Raia. I waited until the price on Amazon got low enough that it became ridiculous to ignore($26 shipped). Great figure, much better in person.

got a box from TFSource with Dr Wu's Megatron-esque gun (looks like it's called Sagittarius), KFC evil Rhinohorn, and ToyWorld Aurora

Rhinohorn isn't bad, some of the joints aren't as tight as I would like, but it can balance on either the front two or the back two feet, and it's a nice deco. I also wish it locked together in rhino mode, but I like it enough that I'm contemplating getting the regular version, and it sells me on getting evil IronPaw and the BoxBomber set that come out in the next couple of months.

Aurora is great! It has several tweaks and differences from Grind Rod, that I didn't expect, and every one of the subtly improves the figure compared to Grind Rod, even though they're pretty much the same skeleton with just different skin. Highly recommend both, but if you can only get one, Aurora is better. I need to acquire money to order the next one.

Nice but EB-06 is coming in July with even more cute Mermaids.

On topic I've been on a Brave Fighbird binge so I should be getting a rather large haul soon.

I'm halfway done so i might as well finish it, so you can bet i'm gonna buy some packs in that set!
