So it's an all-grey version? Pass. I was just curious because of it's low price. |
I'm assuming its this guy: http://brainmusic-movie.blogspot.com...mited-sic.html

Those looking for Vasco and Sally, they're up on Mandarake for 5500 yen-
http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en...s-1119729.html Water Style is up for 5000 yen on Mandarake: http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en...s-1186637.html |
Can somebody explain Jungle to me? I'm having a browse through it and noticed that while the Japanese text version of the site has a figure I want, the English language version (not the American site) doesn't seem to have it. Can I still order from the Japanese site? The payment FAQ on there doesn't mention paypal or anything, just money transfers and COD.
I am confused to say the least :lol |
I ordered Hurricane Dragon ring set from AmiAmi. 900 yen shipped.

I know some Japanese online stores with English and Japanese versions sometimes have things only on the Japanese site... AmiAmi does this as well. No rhyme nor reason to it. |

If anybody likes Gaia Memories besides me, HLJ looks like it's getting the capsule ones back in come July, in sets of eight. If you like memories and don't mind which ones you get, something to note.

You'd be doing something incredibly wrong to get charged sixty dollars for one figure's shipping unless you're buying a Max Gokin or something. Shipping rates for your average SHF or action figure are 800-1500 SAL, 2000ish EMS, 2400 DHL two-day. These rates are in line with everything I've ever ordered from them in the past and are reasonable expectations for any Mandarake branch.
|
Well I was looking at a DX Ushi Origami...soooooo I would say 110 isn't out of the realm of possible. And honestly I'd still pay it because the overall price would still be much better then eBay, but I'd just like to know about it ahead of time.

Yeah the way the websites leave you to guess postage is what has put me off a lot of sales in the past. Being in the UK you get slammed with huge postage charges (sometimes more than the actual item) and often customs charges on top of that where the Post Office just adds whatever money they want on top of that, so it's nice to know beforehand if my 15 quid figure is soon set to become my fifty quid figure.

In that case, all you have to do is find the dimensions of your desired figure and its weight, and the Japan Post rates should be a suitable estimate. I recommend HLJ for this, so long as you make sure to account for older items being hidden under Discontinued. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN955170/Sci |
toys r us has 20% off there prices for Tamashii Nations items

So I was just looking at JUNGLE's new items, and noticed that they had SHF Fourze Magnet states ( ~ 1000 yen sealed, a darn good price if you want one) listen as 'Magneto States'.
Am I the only one that would totally buy a version of Fourze based on Magneto from X-men? |

Hey guys, 2 questions:
1.) When items are out of stock online, Is there any inexpensive Japan-based shopping service that takes a want list you submit to them and they go out, looking for the items on the list at various retailers? 2.) Anyone ever buy from these 2 retailers? Are they even still in operation? How do you tell if they are trustworthy? AASHOP-PZONE - Pre-Order (PVC Figures Plush, Banpresto One Piece Dragonball Gloomy bear and more) Nobletoy.com.hk Just wondering. They have some items that interest me, but I've never heard of them. |

Does it detect by specific product or search result/entire toy line? Say for example I want to know when masterpiece Soundwave is in stock vs. whenever they restock SHmonsterarts or anything that comes up under the search "Godzilla"? |

I've only used FigInStock for Mandarake and AmiAmi.
For Mandarake, it takes a search string and performs the search and notifies you of new results. For AmiAmi you give it the url of a specific product and it notifies you when the stock status changes. |

They also do a Mandarake search term alert, so if you're looking for something specific you just add the search term and they'll send you an email if one comes in stock there. |
I had a question about Big Bad Toy Store.
Can someone please, in very easy terms, explain to me how Pile of Loot works? I've reread how they explained it on their own site atleast nine times now, and it still makes no sense to me what-so-ever. Help would be appreciated. |
You order stuff. As it comes in stock, they put it in a box for you. They don't ship the box until you tell them to.
That's pretty much it. |

Oh. Well why the hell don't they just explain like that on the website?
Thanks guys. |
Does anyone know where else I could pre-order Kibaranger and SIC ShaUTa? Most of my good options sold out and Yokatta will end up being an extra $20-30.

AmiAmi dropped the prices on a couple of SHF:
Super Akiba Red for 2079yen: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...=TOY-TOK-03039 X for 1907yen: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...=TOY-TOK-03039 |

question for ya guys, I have the chance to get my much needed Meteor switch but its out of Japan and brand new, normal shipped is $7 but for EMS is $20 do you guys think the $20 is worth it? the drivers really limited without that switch lol
|
SAL shipping is relatively fast this time of year, so I wouldn't spend $20 on shipping just a switch personally.
|
Go with SAL, It might spend a week or so in NY, but at least you get he switch for a reasonable shipping cost. My most recent purchases have been SAL and the most I've had to wait is 13 days ( I think). Saved me about half.
|
CDJapan has given up on waiting, it seems, and has clearanced the season 2 Akiba girls to 1050 yen each:
Blue: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods...Y=NEOGDS-86647 Yellow: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods...Y=NEOGDS-86648 As a head's up, CDJapan has overly expensive shipping with every option other than SAL. |
