Oh believe me, they're both issues for me... Especially after having just gotten Fort Max too. My mother was not pleased when I told her the price tag on Metroplex.

Silver lining: At least some thought was put into the gift and landed in the vacinity of interest :) I love when my wife tries.

The Gigazord sorta sucks, but you're really lucky your boyfriend put a lot of effort into your gift!

I'm lucky in that me and my partner have very similar interests so 80% of the time we both love our presents to each other.

I also never noticed the American Daizyujin had different packaging, I only have the JP one. Awesome toy.

Quick review, they're everything I hoped for, though they could still be better. They need bicep swivels, Luke needs some alternate hands, R2 needs a storage compartment for the junk you're not using, but overall, they are really great.

I need a couple more Sandtroopers.

Also from BBTS, FansProject Last Chance and MAFEX TDKR Batman, which unfortunately, is far too overpriced for what it is. I spoke more about it in length on twitter, if anybody is interested, but in short, don't pay more than $20 for him, he's not worth it.

I was expecting my first Mandarake order that got 'missent' according to tracking yesterday to come today, and instead BOTH orders came! XDXD

I now have DekaYellow and DekaPink to complete the DekaRangers and Shinken Green, Shinken Yellow, and Shinken Pink to almost complete Shinkenger (missing Shinken Blue)

I also bought a Star Wars Black Darth Maul today. He's cool, but I don't want to start collecting another toy line. Oy!
