 Yesterday I got:
An expensive Gundam! http://ryanlb.com/images/gundam/meta...hee-mc-001.JPG creepy anime girls! http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogs...er-ova-001.JPG http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogs...er-ova-001.JPG And today I got, furniture! Oh, and some spooky sorceress chick. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BeCbumYCQAAPv7Y.jpg |

Sorceress? Never heard Elizabeth described that way.

I dunno what she is, I don't know anything about Persona. She has what looks like a spell book and and creep eyes. And an awesome chair (which is why I bought her).

Anyway, I picked up my Mandarake box from the Post Office. I'm so excited I don't even know where to begin. Not pictured is an LED TaJaDor for OOO. I haven't even gotten mine in from CSToys yet. It's still in customs. With even more Lock Seeds..... https://31.media.tumblr.com/41419f88...opho1_1280.jpg |

I can tell you, I have bought a LOT of toys over the last 9 years, from all price points. And hands down, MB Exia and MB 00-Raiser are by far the best things I have ever purchased. Obviously, they're going to be better than any mass market retail figure, but compared to any collector-targeted figure of comparable price, they are still unbeatable. Take the Mastermind Creations Knight Morpher Cyclops: he cost me around $170-$180 shipped? He's a huge toy, a battleship that was 14-ish inches long, transforms into a giant robot around 12-ish inches tall (okay, i could be wrong about the sizes, I sold it a long time ago). I was pretty hugely disappointed by Cyclops. It was difficult as hell to transform, the robot mode wasn't nearly solid enough, joints were too loose to support the bulkiness of the figure, the little sub-dude doesn't peg together at all in sub mode, so it breaks every time you pick it up. I sold it off pretty soon after I got it, and despite the demand for the figure, took a substantial loss on it. Exia cost me $150 shipped with Amazon Prime, and it is freaking amazing. A perfect figure, in my opinion. It has a ton of accessories, parts to change to Exia Repair III, and it is so well executed, in every way, that I am very tempted to buy a second, so I can display both forms at the same time. Super solid construction, excellent paint work, tight joints that support the heavy metal skeleton. It's fantastic. I don't think I have never been as happy with any purchase as I am with Exia (and 00-Raiser). I can understand being hesitant to spend that much money, I certainly was on Exia, because EVERY time I have spent over $100 for a figure, I have always been disappointed with it in some way or other. But not so with Exia, so much that I really didn't hesitate too long before dropping even more on 00-Raiser. Before buying Exia and 00-Raiser, i never really knew how to answer that age-old question, "if you could only have one figure in your collection?" Well the has been firmly, irrevocably been answered as MB 00-Raiser. And after that, MB Exia. I'll give up all my SHF Ryuki Figuarts, including Genocider, before I give up 00-Raiser and Exia. And that's enough singing the praise to those two toys today. |

My Banpresto Kamen Rider Gaim statue (basic pose, not holding weapons) came today, along with SH Figuarts Deka Blue.
The Gaim statue is worth a solid 4000 yen if you can find it for that much or less. It's very light weight, but the amount of detail on every single inch is incredible. Even the Lock Seeds on the Lock Seed Belt Clip are molded and painted correctly down to the last detail (minus the LS-##). Can't recommend it enough, and I'm not a statue guy. But I love the look of this figure. If they do a Baron, I'm sold. |

Honestly I'm not really impressed by these Lock Seeds at all. The Den-O one was an obligatory purchase I had to have. I can safely say I can live without these other sets I think. If I had driver I might have more fun but honestly I don't know when/if I'll have cash for that.

All of the Gash/Candy rider seeds are great. Love all the unique sounds that aren't just re-used sounds from old toys. If you ever decide to get rid of them, dibs on OOO/Fourze. Lol. |

Although Den-O, you may buy one more Lockseed. Apparently, in Candy Toy Lock Seed Set 06, Den-O Climax will be released |

I'd say I'll just want to get what I paid back out of them. With shipping I got each set for $35.

http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogs...metalgelas.JPG And to try to track this thread back on topic: Some guy on twitter posted about these earlier this week, and they look to be in good scale with Figuarts, and when I saw there was a DQ set, I had to have it. And then I thought some of the others might make for amusing photos, as well. http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogsize/mw-dq-01.JPG http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogsize/mw-opi-01.JPG http://ryanlb.com/images/other/blogs...factory-01.JPG They are currently only available at Walmart, the smaller sets are $15, the big set, $30. They can connect to each other, and stack on top of each other, to build your own mall. I hope there are other neat stores planned for the future. I'll try to get some pics of these assembled and with figures in the next few days, in case anyone is interested. |

Oh really? that's cool. The info I was given was that only Walmart was getting them initially, but if they did well then they'd be able to expand to other stores. My cousin works at TRU, I may have to have him pick them up for me there in the future.
	Pics tonight, hopefully. |

 Two orders arrived recently:
http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...48-d72g9da.jpg -SIC KT Hibiki. -Sentai Hero Shafu. -Candy Toy Time Wizard Ring. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...48-d72g9v5.jpg -RD VF-25S Super Messiah. -Spark Doll Taro. -Mode Lock Fuujin. Hibiki is pretty much flawless, I love the scale beter than figuarts, the paintjob is great and the traslucent plastic does wonders, he's great. Shafu is pretty much Figuarts scale, and since he wasn't a caracter involved in much action I don't mind the lack of articualtion. The ring is suprisingly fun, and gives me something to mess with while doing other stuff. Love the RD VF-25, one of my faovrite mech designs and a great action figure to boot, can't sop playing with it. Taro is ok, mostly bought it since he looks exactly the same in the show. Fuujin is an interesting kit, everything connects with ball joints, making it very unique but finnicky, nothing to write home about though, picture missing because I just recently finished it. :p |

Don't feel like sharing pics but got 3 3/4 inch Darth Maul figure. The cool one that came before the Black one

Got a wild force megazord today. Is there anyone for it to actually hold the sword securely or does it just wobble around all the time?
