I got a Hasegawa Hang-on kit and some littler armory weapons. The Hang-On kit is nice though I wish they made the two large areas that needed to be painted silver separate pieces. The little armory weapons are really detailed but totally a pain in the ass. Some of the parts are so tiny its annoying to clean up and you have to glue a lot of the small attachments so they don't fall off. Not sure they are worth the 900 yen or so but they are cool.

Yeah, the LA kits are a bit of a pain, considering the attachments don't really want to stay on, and I don't feel like buying multiples just so I can have enough accessories to go around. Plus the stocks on the M4 and Mk.18 just don't want to stay plugged in.

The SCAR-H and M82A2 are fine, though. I have the recently released AKM and M82A1 on the way, so we'll see how they fare.

I picked up a few of those effect parts on AmiAmi for quite cheap a while ago, mostly the yellow and blue varieties. The yellow ones work well with DBZ Figuarts, I think. I'll have to see if I can dig up the pics I posted on twitter back when.

I was playing around with the blue version of that last one a couple of days ago when I started working on a gallery for Accel. I wish it was available in white (or that I could find the speed effect from that Dekaranger SRC) but I think the blue works too.

Oh my god how did you get that effect to stay on Saber's sword? I have that as well but mann it's really heavy so no figure tends to be able to hold it up.

And it only stayed long enough for the one picture, then it fell off again.

I do not recommend those sword slash effects, sadly.

Saber's is adequate at least. Shame that more like it aren't very common.

This pic made me laugh. Funniest picture in this thread to date in my opinion. Gridon still has a long way to go to catch up to Bravo's cooking :lol.

the slash effect that comes with Saber, or Figma Kirito are fine, because they slide over the sword and stay on. They're heavy and weigh the figure down, but at least they stay in place.

These ones are heavier and don't stay on. Worst of both worlds.

What was that large movie-style set piece from a while back? I can never remember the name for it. It was styled for monster figures, Godzilla and the like, cost about $200 American when translated, came with backdrops and buildings and looked like a professional film set and could even had a mount for an IPhone to act like a movie camera. Can anyone remind me?

Nice! I like the ammo boxes, too. Those would make great elements in a diorama.

The rail accessories tend to be a bit hit or miss and the M4 and Mk.18 are a bit shoddy, but I love the M82 and SCAR. Can't wait for my AKs to arrive.

They'd be spectacular for a ML Punisher.

I think I have the M4. Haven't really used it at all, beyond cutting it off the sprue and assembling it once. I just ordered a set of the black tactical gloves, in hopes of prompting myself to use the guns once those gloves come out in 4 months. I'll probalby order a couple more guns once the gloves and gun case come out.

The M4 in my experience has issues staying together. Especially in regards to the stock. The LAM doesn't really fit on the rails either.

Again, the SCAR and M82A2 are two very solid pieces of kit, plus the M82 comes with four spare .50BMG rounds. The recent A1 is the same. I'd suspect that the P226 would be fairly decent as well, being as they're a pretty simple build. No idea about the MP7, though.

I got the Datong knock-off flame effects in yesterday, as seen in the Recent Purchase thread. They're nice quality and I would recommend them if you're on the fence. Of course, most of the sellers have disappeared off eBay again. I'm sure they'll pop back up again at some point. They usually do.

I grabbed the blast effect and the explosion effect recolor. It will probably take a few weeks for them to get here but, like always, I'll give a report when they show up.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the flame effects. They're really well done. I was actually surprised they were in boxes, too. I expected Ziploc™ bags. I wonder if the Aliexpress prices are going up due to demand or the fact eBay seems to be purging the pieces like crazy. Or both.

Yeah I saw those boxes, was surprised, reminds me more of third party TF products. It's weird for a bootlegger they seem intent on offering decent products.

Probably, on ebay all the auctions had a lot of watchers. If only they had combined shipping I would have bought the blast effects too ;; but ahh just getting the two flame effect pieces was expensive.

I got pretty fed up with the Little Armory mk18 and just ended up gluing everything together out of frustration. Ended up giving it and the m82 a quick layer of paint and a wash, though I thought about doing a two tone.

Finally found the little armory hands i bought months ago after two weeks of searching, thought I accidentally threw them away but they were right in front of me under some toys. Not sure how I really feel about the little armory stuff though, they are really expensive for how annoying they are to build and the hands really don't grip the guns very tightly. I still have the grenade launcher on preorder but I might be done after that. These should be like half the price of what they actually cost.
