I feel like I have no say in the matter because that was when I got into Bionicle.

Kopaka's scope was on the wrong side, Gali had a masculine rabbit head, Pohatu had a Mask of Time and Onua had a Mask of Shadows.

Oh I have a question for the Bionicle Star Line, was Tahu's and Takanuva mask remade to have the plus rod to plug into the face like the Metru masks and onward excluding the Inikas.

I most certainly was. I loved (and still do) the Lewa design from that line.

Yeah Phantoka/Mistika were pretty cool, not quite Mahri tier for me though.

The Kanohi Avohkii always had an axel connector.

The Avohkii was actually the first mask to feature the axle connection, so the one used in the Stars set was the original mold. The Hau used for Tahu, however, was completely new.

I only had Lewa because he's my favorite one. Pretty cool but the ball launcher was lame compared to the Cordak blaster

That's actually the Toa Nuva, the Toa Mata's upgrades in upgrade mode, but I had ALL the Phantoka releases man :lol

It depends really on how you see it I guess. Most commercial market them as the Toa Phantoka/Mistika, comics/story consider the Mistika as armor upgrade I believe. But the wiki says they're Toa Mistika and Toa Phantoka.

The 2008 sets are (as an entire team) the Toa Nuva. Now the two teams of three are Toa Phantoka and the Toa Mistika

Was it ever explianed why Lewa and Pohatu (Maybe Kopaka?) had a different armor change when they went to the swamps? Did their Phantoka forms not suited for the swamps?

Maybe once it adapts, it stays adapted indefinitely. Thus Pohatu's big propellers became a permanent addition to his person.

The big jet thingies are the only things that can bypass the adaption process.

Unless the Mask of Life goes into Troll mode and turns you back into a Toa Mata. Then it tries to seek forgiveness by giving you sweet-ass golden armor.

Not really persay. I've always love the Dark Hunters and the designs of them, so I tend to try and make stuff centered around that theme. Outside of that though I usually just build until I'm pleased.

Try making some Constractions from Bionicle Heroes. It's a fun challenge.

There's apparently a second image that was around that adds more credibility, but "compromised an individual's job directly so they somehow actually did a good job of removing it from public eye? I can't find it at all. But regardless it's complete bullshit. If you leak anything confidential you do so knowing you should be fired for breaking the rules of your contract. One picture isn't any different than another.

Well either way I doubt it will really return. I'm more holding out for a "Hey! Remember this?" reboot. No real long running story like before, just an abridged toyline that acts like a more respectable Stars: new Tahu using modern engineering and new backwards-compatible Kanohi designs that we've never seen before.

Or a reimagining of the idea in a way that new generations can get into while older ones can be all "Yep, that's how it was in my day. Good times, good times."
You don't need to like it, but you can still like it as a new thing.

It's how I feel about the Peter Rabbit series airing on Nick Jr. I prefer the BBC one from the 90's that I watched on VHS, but I'm not TOTALLY against this new incarnation of classic British children's literature characters for a modern day.
