The subs for 12 are out.
|
Episode 12 was insane! There's just so much to say. I know next week is going to be something. I can't wait!
|
So many feels in ep12 ...
|
Poor Mamoru. :( He never meant for that to happen, which makes it all the more worse.
|
Well, that was certainly a "shit hits the fan" episode. We're definitely getting to the climax of the first season, and holy crap is it getting intense. I cannot wait to see the finale - I'd give my left arm to have that episode available now. :(
Too soon? |

I was hoping that they was going to pick up Sigma belt and give it to Mamoru. Then he would've looked more like them when he transformed. |

Where is the best place to watch the sub.
Does anyone have a link? |

I was thinking that when they use those belts, that it alters their transformation and in turn they'll look more like the main two Amazons once transformed. I especially thought that when I saw Sigma. But at last, my assumptions didn't pan out and old Mamoru will be taking a dirt nap soon. :( |

What an episode. Both Haruka and Jin seemed to be in the mindset that if all Amazon have to die of Tlaloc that means all of them. I am wondering what tipped Kota off about Mamoaru though, just a gut feeling or his sudden dislike of the burgers. And Mamoru though, again you knew it was coming sooner or later, but damn. I wonder what the team will handle this. I mean Kota, while apparently upset he had to, was going to put him down. But despite losing an arm to the hunger Kazuya stopped him and pointed out that his armlet was still blue. I can't wait to see how this ends.
|
It wouldn't be bad if Mamoru just kept his form with the belt on him. Alpha and Sigma's belt-less forms looked exactly the same as their belt forms so Mamoru could be like that to.
|
I would be fine with that tas well. They might actually explain Haruka being the only one who changes forms upon transforming with him being this mysterious third type Amazon. He is the only one able to create weapons out of the belt too.
Other Amazons might just get a slight power-up with no form change by using the belt. |

The final raw is up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfWA...ature=youtu.be

What a finale! From the new status quo, to the final beautifully-choreographed battle, right down to the set-up for season 2, "M" is a wonderful ending for the first amazing season.
|
I don't know, but for some reason at the end when Haruka screams "Amazon" and turns around facing the camera transformed, it just reminds me of the those old Heisei eyecatches.

subs for the finale are up at overtime

Episode 13 was awesome. I officially love the president. He is so crazy and cool. Tachibana looked so triggered at the end which was hilarious. It's interesting that Haruka is actually the director's son and how he's a Amazon-human hybrid. I can't wait till next April. I know season 2 is going to be great.

I want more already.

Anyway, decided to wait until 13 was out to watch both it and 12, and I'm glad I did. Managed to get through that without building up too much hype or anything. Anyway, they were great. They were great, but...I...found M slightly anticlimatic? I dunno. I was expecting like...something to happen. Someone to die or something. Really thought they were going somewhere else with Mamoru too. And with the timeskip, us seeing Jin and Haruka in their beat-up states, and learning that they've been fighting constantly for weeks now...a lot of it feels like it'd fit a beginning more than an ending. Like season 1 should have ended with Tlaloc and the team being disbanded, and then when we come back with season 2 we get most of what happened this episode. If one or both of the lead Amazons or Mamoru had died, or if the events of this episode in particular had any lasting repercussions, I'd feel differently about it, but that not being the case, I'm left with a weird feeling. Not even sure if I'm making sense. But anyway. Amazons is pretty great, some slight reservations about M aside. I'm looking forward to the second season a lot. The wait will be real. |
Although no one died, the finale did shake up the status quo in a pretty big way. Haruka and Mamoru walked away from their team (and their humanity) while the president revealed that everything had been going according to his design. That itself is good enough for me.
And the little thing I really liked was showing how much Takayama Jin (Alpha) had become feared and monstrous. Not extremely plot relevant but appreciated nonetheless. |
Judging by Haruka and Jin's response, I think that ball of mystery meat Jin was eating might be from an Amazon.
|
The finale was great, although it leaves me a bit puzzled as to where all of this is going. The wait for season 2 already sucks.

I'm going to miss this show; it's been the bright spot in a fairly mixed spring of tokusatsu. I wasn't that into it at first, but it really grew on me a lot as it went along. I will definitely be back for the back half of the alphabet next year. Quote:

Something must have happened to Jin to make him EAT Amazon's now. That's a bit of a jump from how his attitude was before. I mean come on man, that doesn't even look remotely tasty.

Just watched the finale. I'm super bummed it's over but I loved everything about this season. I can't wait for season 2. I'll be watching it again as soon as it's available on Amazon Video in the US. I'm curious how long Amazons could potentially last and if they are planning to remake other series afterwards.

Haha, yeah, I guess I wasn't thinking about that. Hey, they could always repeat through the alphabet again.

As season finale go that was pretty good. Haruka and Momaru both decided to be with their people in the end. Jin apparently went a little crazy (crazier?) seeing how Tlaloc didn't really get the job done, although both him and Momaru are both showing the scars of the event. Haruka in the most interesting place to explore next season I think since he wants to protect his Amazon breathern, but apparently has no problem taking them out once they awaken and start attacking humans. as for the human side of the cast, am I the only one who was surprised at what Nozomi's job apparently was before the extermination squad. I am wondering how much we're going to see of Haruka's sister next season since he pushed her away, maybe she'll drop trying to bring him home. And I think the chief's rival in the company just realized how crazy his boss actually is there at the end. although I do find it interesting that Jin and Hatuka opposite sides of the same coin apparently, Jin being a human who infused himself with Amazon cells and Haruka being an Amazon who was infused with human cells.

Didn't like the last half of the season. Not excited for the next season and I'll probably not seek it out to watch it. It was doing so good, but once it reached midway, it tripped and stumbled.
