I'm curious how the actress execute valkyrie given her descriptions can be like aso from kiva, timepink or even TFpink, bouken pink/shinken pink calmer. I don't see marika from her. Somehow the description of a CEO, kind of want a older and level headed stronger character and make the kind of goofy/street smart or Ai genius as the sidekick more. I hoped the writer improved instead of decline in writing like some previous krss writers after returning for a second shot.

Learning complete. I would go for krchaser, an Ai robot like main hero and make the current 01 as his sidekick. Kind of of like early kabuto/gattack and not shunpei/haruto. I wouldn't mind hibiki, older CEO rider.

It is as if someone at Toei saw King Ralph, Richie Rich, and Iron Man and said "EUREKA". Overall I don't mind, looking forward to see how royally unfunny Aruto is. :lolol

...of all things, the main Rider had to be a failed comedian. Cue lame jokes every episode. It's even stated in the summary that the secretary has to "explain Aruto's boring gags and jokes".

You know, I really want a confident, no-nonsense, dickish main Rider again. It's been ages since we had one of those.

We had a fairly confident Rider just a year ago in Build. I don't know why you'd want one to be "dickish" though. That kinda gets old real fast.

One of the cast members is also a member of a comedy duo in real life, so I'm guessing his character and Aruto are going to trade a few jabs every now and then.

By the way, good to see veteran Noriko Hidaka come back to the toku scene to voice the A.I. system. Been a while ever since she finished voicing Glitta in ToQger.

It is also highly likely that it is wordplay on the Reiwa Era as I have previously pointed out way way back.

Reiwa > Rei + Wa > Rei is the same pronunciation for the number 0 + Wa can be to a certain extent be a pun on the number 1 > Thus, Zero-One.

I wonder if they're going to do another Dan the Manly by revealing that Aruto's father was the 01 before him cause while it's said that only the president gets to use the driver we don't know if Aruto would be the first president to use it.

Maybe not the dad since they say Aruto is only the second head of the company (so probably the grandad) , but yeah, it'd be weird to have the setup that only the president can use the belt if no one had used the belt before.

Pleasantly surprised to see the Valkyrie rumors were true. A female Rider in the initial lineup has never been done before.

I don't mind Aruto being a failed comedian depending on what his main gag was, it possibly means Toei gonna try shifting the comedic focus away from slapstick this time around.

Gotta say I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing so far. I did enjoy the beginning of the trailer with the very Marvel Studios intro they had going for the Heisei word before it shattered into Reiwa.

I'm liking that Vulcan and Valkyrie are a duo team, the CEO aspect caught me off guard for 01 so this should be interesting to see.

But overall, good vibes so far. I also like that one of the shots in the trailer showed them at one of the usual stage show locations. Soon Stage Shows will be canon to Kamen Rider.

The alignment for our characters though is pretty great. You've got the duo of Terrorist Hackers, the Paramilitary Duo, and in the middle of it all you've got a Dork who became a CEO.

I'm excited to see how those dynamics change over the course of the series.

Man, I had seen the "a jump to the sky turns into a rider kick" clip and thought the KR fanbase had invented some silly new meme, not that it was an actual thing. :p

Anyways, I LOVE this concept, I really love stuff dealing with AI and overall I'm very pleased with how the cast looks. The Ex-Aid writer returning could be really good, I rather liked him before, but I hope he has improved since last time, as Ex-Aid had a lot of little irritating problems that dragged it down a bit. I'm also a bit iffy on the rather "sentai-y" protagonist so far, but I'm sure the show will do its best to slowly emotionally destroy him. Can't wait to watch!

So basically Kamen Rider Zero-One is a billionaire? Interesting.

Look like a female Kamen Rider will be prominent Rider and that's refreshing since female Kamen Riders are rarely prominent like most male Kamen Riders.

My one concern with the 'Aruto will attempt to joke around' is that it might be Aruto making puns with the joke getting explained. Here's hoping it's just surreal shit like "Why did the chicken cross the road? To rent a movie!" with Izu going "Aruto believes renting movies is an act of cowardice and that's the punchline"

That's not even the real name though. "Thunderclap of Destruction" is only a translation, and there's zero guarantee it's the one they'd use. Metsubou Jinrai is the real thing...though it doesn't look like they snatched that one up either.

So Ghost's composer is returning for this series. Arguably the best thing about Ghost are the soundtracks which is so good they don't even have insert songs! Hopefully this one will be just as good.

I'm not gonna lie, I was genuinely hoping Kobyashi would be the writer (because I always am), but, uh... Yuuya Takahashi's doing it instead?

Ex-Aid fought very hard for a very long time to earn my respect the way it did by the end, so I'm looking forward to sitting back and just enjoying a show by this guy now that I'm already convinced he's a super genius from the start. And we get LuPat's main director! I mean, did you guys see Zi-O's Agito arc? This is a dream team right here. It's like they're making this show just for me! Hopefully Sugihara does more episodes of this show than Kamihoriuchi has Ryusoulger though... But even if he doesn't the background music is from the same guy as Ghost! Woohoo!

While I'm extremely unconvinced there's going to be enough of a change in style to justify Reiwa Rider being treated like it's something completely new and different, I am absolutely loving everything I'm seeing on its own merits. The aesthetics and the theming of all the designs is great, which is to be expected (shoutout to weapons that fold up into briefcases, that's an itch I haven't had scratched in a while), and are definitely doing most of the work to make this show seem like a fresh start.

The story keeps sounding better and better the more I think about it, too. The idea of these three major factions gives the show a huge opportunity for more layered, complex drama, and I think balancing all those characters out is something nobody is more suited for than Takahashi. I also appreciate that Zero-One's specific ideals place him firmly on his own side, despite all the Riders already running around. The big question I think every multi-Rider show needs to figure out is how you justify why the title character is the star, and this is a great way to do that. Hopefully Aruto doesn't end up getting overshadowed as much as poor Emu did.

Speaking of Aruto, he's about what I expected, but that's not a bad thing in its own right. Some cliches are cliches for a reason, after all, and having watched that press conference, his actor gives off a really good vibe to me, which is a plus. I also think having this kind of protagonist could actually be a perfect choice if the show's plot does start going deep into its futurist subject matter. An enthusiastic hero with a big heart would make a great anchor when everyone starts getting into debates about the ethical and practical implications of an AI labor force or whatever. Sometimes you just need a guy who can bring it all back down to hitting a monster a bunch and saving people.

Also, I think the theme song is going to be a favorite of mine. All in all, I'm hyped for this show in a way I haven't been since Drive. It all sounds super promising.

That's not just going to happen anytime soon. The Kamen Rider people who usually use her skills are just not involved as they use to be. Shirakura only does anniversary and other special stuff though he did use her for Amazons and Takebe seems to only work now under Shirakura after Ninninger failed.

Any news if Seiji Takaiwa is still the main suit actor? Since Jun Watanabe is the action director, he definitely won't suit up.

So far no news but people have noted Zero One seems thinner than Takaiwa so unless he lost his belly in a rather short time he may indeed have been replaced

How about Geiz and Woz's suit actors, Yuuya Nawata and Eitoku? If indeed Takaiwa steps down those two seem most likely.
