Wow, he looks fantastic! The W figures seem to be way nicer looking than any of the Ex-Aid through Zi-O RKFs did. I've supposedly got an RKF Skull on the way, though with Corona messing up international shipping who knows if it'll ever make it to me. Assuming I does though, Skull and Joker would look great together

This always seems to happens with a toy line. The later figures get drastically better than the earlier figures causing a mismatch.

Another Izu figure has been announced, this time by the Gashapon site.

So, how long till we get a S.H. Figuarts? Not a fan of the static Izu figures lately. This one's cool tho. I'd probably get it.

I'm out of the loop on KR releases, so what's the difference between the SHF Zero One and the "Revival" version? Is it just a second run, is it changed? Both are order stop on HLJ, so neither are even out yet?

I'm guessing it's just the regular Zero-One with probably a new box. Maybe a less special box to make the first release that much special.

The HLJ website seems to just show off the regular promo images and same accessory count. Good to see Bandai re-releasing the base rider more often now.
Now if they could just do that with Ghost... He's been sold out in Manda for a while now.

I think its just a second run. The SHF of Zero One came out around Feb/Mar and sold out pretty fast at the pre-order level.

The listing on HLJ just looks like a rerelease, and pre-sold out again. The figure itself is definitely already out.

From what I've gathered it's a one in 2000 limited edition candy toy. I don't read Japanese so I couldn't tell you what it says but I've found this poster about it on google. It's terrible quality but maybe you know someone who could read it.

Does anyone have both the Entry Grade Zero-One model kit and the SHF? I wanna know how those two look next to each other.

Been catching up on Zero-One lately and looking at how cheap some of the DX stuff goes for on Mandarake, I'm having a very hard time convincing myself not to go crazy and buy all the belts and upgrades that are currently in stock. I've got about $180 worth of stuff in my cart across two locations. Only thing holding me back is shipping cost.

Ended up skipping the upgrades for now, and also decided fuck Thouser, I really don't need his driver, cutting the cost of the order in half. Just ordered the Shotriser and key holders plus Rushing Cheetah pack from one location and the Forceriser and Flying Falcon key from another location. Hopefully it's all in stock!

That turned out to be a bit of a mistake. Shipping on the Shotriser and key holders was twice as much as I expected it to be. Been debating risking canceling the order and just getting the Forceriser for now, but doing a bit of research suggests I might get banned after a single cancellation, so I think I'll just go ahead and pay, and go easy on spending for a little while

Right now is just such a bad time to order DX stuff. Since every Japan-based retailer is only shipping to the US via DHL, and DX stuff tends to have MASSIVE boxes compared to action figures, it's the very opposite reason you'd want to use DHL since you're paying for the volume rather than the weight.

Also, from my personal experience, Mandarake is fairly generous with their cancellation policy. The only Japan-based retailer I've dealt with that is genuinely strict about cancellations is AmiAmi, but even then, they aren't going to blacklist you over one cancellation.

I've only requested a partial cancellation once from AmiAmi a few years ago and they were willing to do it and I wasn't banned. They definitely said it was done out of courtesy and that excessive cancellations could result in restrictions or a permanent account closure.

I also do not like using any of the courier services like DHL, UPS and Fedex either because you are always guaranteed to have to pay customs + their "handling fees". Although I am in Canada not the US but I can't imagine it's too different.

Nah, in America it's completely taken care of for you. I've been importing stuff from Japan for around 7 years now and never had to pay for anything more than the product and shipping.

DHL is pretty fucking incredible as long as you learn to estimate what's going to fit in their cheapest box. My last 2 orders from Mandarake were from Nagoya and Akihabara. Both orders were around 20 So-Do boxes each, totaling around 70 USD, and shipping was only 16 USD. DHL is unbelievably fast, so I won't complain.

Ah, that's nice then. I guess if that's the case, the custom fees is due to them having to bring it over to Canada from the US since it seems like packages from Japan arrive in the US first before coming over to Canada.

I ended up just paying for the Shotriser. Was running out of time. Gonna try sending an email asking if it's possible to cancel the Forceriser.

What are our chances for Naki to get a RKF release? I've thought of a potential SHF but it'd be cracking my wallet and I'm already saving it for Saber, plus, Naki's a smoll bean anyway so I might be able to fudge them in the collection, with maybe a modification in the height.

This is my first year collecting KR stuff so I don't know how it works, but would we normally get more releases from one series after figures for the next one have already been announced? There are a few RKF-shaped holes in Zero-One I'd like to see filled but I'm not really expecting it unless maybe they do some more for the movie.

They did do an Ohma Zi-O in the Zero-One line, but RKF is so laughably far from a conpletionist toyline that I don’t think we’ll see anything like Naki. Your best bet is Sodo.
