I know nothing about the hell brothers other than their little cameo in Zi-O, but I'm enjoying just how much you guys seem to love them. What a pair of memes.

What I really love about them are that their pessimism makes them perfect meme material and one of the reasons it made me enjoy Kabuto despite the show's imperfections. But when they have to ooze badassery, mostly during fight scenes, they deliver. :lolol
But most of all, they are just a great homage to Kamen Rider 1 and 2.

Surprised no-ones talking about the one major villain in this wave.

This sucks. University Housing is no longer distributing packages, anything that arrives will be held indefinitely. I just got my Ride Plus wave a couple days ago, but my order with Killbus is still on the way. No idea when I'll be able to get my package.

I stickered up Ride Plus wave 1 today. They look fantastic, other that Quiz, who's suit I was never fond of. I messed up his head slightly, as well as a leg sticker on Kikai and an arm sticker on Shinobi. Decade came out pretty much perfect at least.

Looks great! I haven't watched Zi-O, is that Decade different in any way from the Decade series? Is there stuff on him that's from Zi-O? Or is it just a Decade figure, in a Zi-O wave?

To not spoil too much, Decade features a -lot- in Zi-O to the point he's more important of a character than your standard Legend Rider cameo, so he's in this extra Zi-O wave.

Whoops, sorry, I should've phrased that better. I was wondering if the decoration of the figure (suit, driver, accessoires) was different from the Decade series, like if there's a deco to this iteration of Decade that's specific to his appearance in Zi-O, or if this figure could just as easily represent his appearances from his own show.

Decade in Zi-O has a ~~pink~~ Magenta Driver, but the figure comes with stickers to represent both. So you can either have him as 2019 Tsukasa, or 2009 Tsukasa. It's a pretty fair trade-off.

You're slightly off. The second box in the set comes with an extra driver with an 09 style and sticker, along with a few other accessories for Decade, plus Shinobi's swords

It actually makes me tempted to try and pick up an extra Decade to use the alt Decadriver on. It's about as different as the various Build Hazard forms were, and I still tried up collect extra bodies for all the alt heads. There's also the Violent Emotion head, but I've never watched the movie it's from

If that is a thing, then they should have released SO-DO Narutaki as a Premium Bandai because Onore Dikeido. Could you imagine how hilarious that would be? Middle-aged angry man with a trench coat and fisherman hat in SO-DO form? :lolol

It would be fantastic if they made some human So-Do. They made Hongo in Shodo and in SHF, along with Kuroto and Ankh in SHF, why not add some humans to the third Rider action figure line? Now that painted faces are in the budget, they could make it look pretty good. Being a lot less bulky than a Rider, they could probably fit it in at a single box

I think, though, you could easily keep the two-box system, but have, like, different clip-on shirts or accessories. Like, Ankh in one box, but the second box would have human arm, accessories, single wing, different head, ice candy, etc.

I'd be so down for Human So-Do given how many more figures they make than other lines! I think it'd help completionism so much to have, say, an Izu in Zero-One or Sougo's uncle in Zi-O

If I could get a So-Do human Woz with book and "Iwae!" face, my life would pretty much be complete

Now I'm just annoyed that they never actually got Narutaki back for Zi-O! Imagine Tsukasa, actually going on about how he's going to destroy the world, with Narutaki just in the background like "I knew it, I knew it!"

That's a big mood. Really want PuToTyra, really don't want to be spending money. How do I make the exchange rate less awful?

Yeah, I'm keeping my preorders going, but a lot of the older figs I had an eye on are going to have to wait a while. Pretty much just going to work through my backlog for the time being.

For those who don't have a backlog and are feeling that SO-DO itch, there's an article on a Transformers blog that might be applicable. It's basically a bunch of ways you can enjoy your collection if you can't get/afford new figures. It's a lot of easy and free things you can do with figures on hand, like reposing and rearranging your collection. Some of it's a little transforming-robot-toy specific, like converting modes, but... maybe it's time to recombine those Build figures, post some fun new combos? Rabbit/Game? Panda/UFO? If you've got the time, get creative!

Now news that hasn't been linked here. We're getting Candy toy size stands! This is super awesome to me and will work great no matter what you collect. On top of that we also see what looks like SHODO Sun Vulcan in these pics, I hope that means something.

Neat! Those are fantastic. It's super cool that you can use a bunch of different pegs/grips, plus combine them for dioramas. I definitely want to build a little plastic rock quarry for all of my tiny mans to fight on. Are these Premium Bandai only, or is that just for the 18-pack? I'm not totally clear from that article.

Even at just $2-3 a piece, though, I feel like I'll have to pick and choose who gets the Premium stands, you know? Like, an 18-piece display for major characters, the pack-in stands for everyone else.

What about the rest of you? Going to upgrade everything, or just keep it to favorite figs? Or skip the new stands entirely?

Yeah, the stands ain't for me. If someone buys a whole box and wants to flog a couple, maybe I'll grab one or two, but I'm not after a whole set of them.

I'd probably buy a case of the standard So-Do stands if they were a bit cheaper. I've got several figures without stands where I've been storing the name tag sticker till I eventually have an extra stand for it

I would basically treat literally every release date for a physical item as a big ol' Tentative for the foreseeable future. Even discounting manufacturing delays due to plant closures during quarantine, there's a lot of concern globally about exactly how much product can be pumped into markets right now. Folks in countries where the coronavirus is slightly more in the rear-view may not feel like a ton of frivolous spending right now, and stores may not want to have unsellable product clogging shelves. Until things get a little bit more back to normal, and consumer confidence is on the rise, I'd expect a LOT of companies to slim down their release plans and spread out completed products.

DISCLAIMER I'm just a guy dealing with selling nerd goods in America, I don't know how Japanese or Asian fans are going to alter their spending in 2020, this is all I Got A Gut Feeling talk.

If things weren't so crazy here (NYC), I'd send someone all my extra SODO stands. I have a bunch I'm not using.

Well if we go off of the SO-DO Ex-aid waves, the 12 back should be 2 metal hopper sets, 2 Kamen Rider 01 sets, and 1 of the other 3, and then 1 of the movie guy's body probably. I'm basing this off the time they included 6 mutektis in a 14 pack instead of including an extra poppy.
