I've just been messing around with it, and, no? It's just a push-straight-down, pull-straight-up clip. I just use a thumb and finger to brace the white body-piece, then use my other thumb and finger to yank out the blade in one motion. For the hammer wave, just line it up and press down slightly until you hear a small click.

I'm getting ready for work so I can't take pictures, but I can post some later today if that'd help.

In the meantime, I'd maybe suggest partially disassembling your Breaker, so you can see a cross-section of what's going on with the clip. Could be the u-shape of the pink piece isn't open enough and might need to be expanded. Could be the white rod it clips onto has some protrusions, or is misaligned. Might be worth investigating?

Well, I think that it’s likely enough if they did plat-form and and Kuuga rising mighty. It is really only a new torso, shoulders, head and right arm.

The reason for those is because Plat Form is a gimmick built into the figure, and because Rising Mighty is little more than a recolour with about three new small parts.

Figure-Rise Standard is very focused on main forms of main riders, and very little else at the moment. Outside of those, we've only gotten upgrade forms and other riders when they're very easy recolours with few new parts, and even then only through Premium Bandai (Genm, Joker, Amazing/Rising Mighty). The only exception to this is Geiz who was retail and obviously much more than a recolour, but even then he shared very many parts with Zi-O and at the time of release he was current series. He's the exception to the rule... and also the one that very routinely goes on sale for cheap compared to the others. There's also Heat/Metal and Luna/Trigger, of course; but again those are by and large recolours with few new parts, and W to begin with is extremely popular.

When we don't even get popular secondaries like Cross-Z or Accel, nor even final forms; I really really wouldn't get your hopes up for a minor auxiliary form of a rider whose popularity is fairly middling, and the demand for the form itself basically non-existent. Would be cool! But... very very unlikely.

Maybe when they run out of Heisei riders. I'd honestly buy anything they'll have to offer from Ex-Aid or Build. If they don't do the secondary forms then I'll buy another Ex-Aid and make my onw pieces if I ever get a 3D printer.

Also, figure out the problem with the gashacon breaker. It's actually too loose, not too tight.

I know this isn’t toku, but I’ll probably get figure rise Asuna from SAO if they make a Kirito.

I'd rather you just get the Figma Asuna. The figure-rise one is very dodgy in the face and the articulation department. The Figma of the original Asuna is 5000yen on Manda but the ALO is around 3500 yen. A better deal already.

But if you're up to REALLY painting her, you can definitely fix some of the kit's problems.

I’m annoyed that the stock photos for figure rise are basically false advertising since those feature hand painted copies.

It's true enough, though that is a thing with model kits in general -- painting them is often considered part and parcel so stock photos of pretty much any model kit out there will feature hand-painted models.

Howwwwwever, one thing I will say for FRS Riders is that... none of them really need paint? Most the pictures posted in this thread by us are just the kits with the stickers included and nothing more, and the result is always more than satisfying and never really needs paint. The only thing I've so far come across is that Ex-Aid's gashacon breaker doesn't have any black stickers so it's pure white with only colour in the buttons and the blade itself... and to me personally that ended up looking better anyway lol.

It does suck, but as far as FRS is concerned it's not exactly inaccurate to what you're getting with stickers.

I’m mostly annoyed about the Gashacon Breaker and the lack of black on the driver handle and the lack of the pink on the joint which could’ve been easily avoided.

Except they clearly state that they are promotional pictures, and that the final product will be unpainted. They’re model kits, after all.

I just keep having bad experiences with Amiami so I'm a little hesitant to continue ordering from them.

Not sure I'd want a pre-owned model kit. I don't feel like risking botched stickers or bad sprue marks.

Preowned in this case (because I was worried too!) just meant that someone bought it, never put it together, and resold it. All of the runners were in their sealed bags. Nothing had been opened inside the box. It was basically brand-new.

Ahh, well that’s good. How much did you pay for it shipping included? Could you please do pics of him and Ex-Aid? Also, are all AmiAmi pre-owned open packaging with sealed contents?

Japan has a bit of a different concept of "pre-owned". It applies to anything in which you aren't the "first owner".

Because people like to keep the packaging in tact for a lot of goods, any damage whatsoever can turn something to a "pre-owned" good. I bought a figure from Yahoo auctions that was 50% off retail because it had some rips and dents on the box (the figure itself was perfectly fine). You may have even noticed on some higher end Kamen Rider stuff (namely P-Bandai and CSM releases) that packaging comes with markings saying that the outer box is for protection only and will not be replaced due to damage.

A model kit with the inner bag opened with rarely if ever be considered re-salable, and stores won't take them. If the inner bag is opened, the item is more likely to be labeled and sold "as-is or junk".

Specifically for AmiAmi, they use a rating system for pre-owned items:

-Condition Rank of the products.

A: Item is sealed and is unopened or appears to be unopened.
A-: Item is not sealed but appears to be unopened.
B+: Item has been opened but no damage is visible. All bundled items are included.
B: Item has been opened and minor dirt or damage is visible. All bundled items are included.
C: Opened item with conspicuous damage. Sub parts may be missing.
J: Main item or main parts are missing, severely damaged, and/or having problem with operation.

-Condition Ranking for Package

A: No damage to the box is visible.
B: Some damage to the box is visible.
C: Box is clearly damaged.
N: No box/packaging is included. (item is loose)

Check the listed rank to determine if something like the seal was opened or not.

It's going to be a little while before I'm able to build it, but I'd be glad to post photos then.

The shipping cost is tough to calculate, because I added it with some other stuff. The box was a case of SO-DO, a set of SO-DO, and the kit. I shipped them DHL to Chicago for 4010 yen. For reference, a previous order of one SO-DO case and one SO-DO set was 2710 yen to be shipped via DHL.

Think it's worth it to say that right now, Bluefin's doing some pretty nice bundle deals on Figure-Rise Riders among other things! I'm posting an image of all the bundles below; but out of them I'd highly recommend the Level-Up pack because Genm's usually an exclusive -- and while he's not overwhelmingly hard to come by right now, getting him at the same availability and price as the retail FRS riders is a steal!

... though of course it's Bluefin so it's America only; if it wasn't I'd be looking to go halfers on that Level-Up pack with someone rip

First, America is... things are complicated right now, okay? Let us have this one.

Second, +1 for everything Kurona said ($25 for Genm is a steal), but I'd also recommend that Double 3-pack for $65. They're great kits on their own, and you're getting all three of the base combinations to mix and match as much as your heart desires. They definitely improve by having more than one.
