Better look at the page featuring the mechs, so the bee and butterfly are actually visible, and an alternative look at the mech.

The two things that look like spiders go right in front on the chest and waist. Those look like they'll be easy to swap out and customize with other stuff like the Ryusoulger mecha.

Interesting that the red beetle has some asymmetry with the mandibles.

Overall I'm still a bit mid on the design. The faces on the knee are too soon after Don Brothers, which was just a great design. And like others have mentioned, I'm none too thrilled when a core mech simply becomes a weapon.

Well this looks insanely fun. Love the suits, I wish it would've been even heavier on the bug theme, but I guess that's what Kamen Rider is for after all. I like the very uniform colored outfits, they are really bright.

Mechanical insects are pretty much the most awesome thing as far as combinable robots goes; I hope the toy takes some cues from Don Onitaijin when it comes to articulation.

Looking great so far, I'm eager to see more. The good thing about Donbrothers being so wacky and wild is that I'm absolutely in the mood for something more conventional as far as Sentai is concerned. Should it come to that. I would gladly take another series as crazy as Donbrothers too though!

I noticed an unfortunate coincidence in the name that only applies to the romanized version, as it happens to be very similar to something else. It was never my intention to "bash" anything, I was afraid horrible people would use it for bad intentions, please read my other posts on the matter.

Best tip I could give is that it's close to "un" or "nn" phonetically. The closest example would be N Daguva Zeba from Kuuga.

Oh snap, I just realized that this premiers a few days before I arrive in Japan (the 5th and the 8th, respectively). Does anybody know if and when Sentai has reruns? I'd love to watch the first couple of episodes live if possible.

While I don't exactly love the "cheats" of using little non-Senshi-specific ants etc to fill out the body, I do love that we're finally getting "bad ass" looking robots in Sentai. I mean, Sentai robots usually look pretty good, but this clearly looks like it was designed at least partly with adult fans in mind.

I?m not sure if they have sentai reruns. I remember my hotel room only had about 8 channels and it wasn?t clear at first which one was the TV Asahi affiliate. I just kept switching channels Sunday morning until I stumbled onto SHT haha.

I thought there were like Friday night reruns or something? I don't remember though, and I could be totally wrong.

I wonder if the Ant Queen will be an auxiliary mech...

Wow it looks better than I expected. A bit more greebly than I tend to prefer, but it seems to suit the vibe of the show.

I wonder if Bandai can keep up this trend of articulation. The first robot to go back to 5 points of articulation is never gonna hear the end of it.

This is all quite nice. I like that they're keeping up with the articulation. I was a little worried the crotch spider would hinder the legs, but it doesn't seem to create that much of an issue.

It's not that I want to buy DX Super Sentai robots just because, but if they keep making them this good I sure will.

This looks great and has decent articulation to boot. I want one.

If sales are strong there's no reason to ever go back, at this point it might be likely that every future robot will be designed with moveable joints in mind.

I'm just afraid of how much they'll try to push things with the price. Like, they either have to scale things down a little bit, or the price might keep increasing.

The idea of a DX toy with articulation is weird. I still think of the 90s ones where only the arms move.

Yeah the size will adjust itself, they kind of did it here already, KingOhja looks smaller than Don Onitaijin but a bit more involved in parts count. Maybe the size will alter depending on how complex the robot is.

But I'd say cutting electronic lights and sounds already helps a bit with keeping the price somewhat stable.
