Gariuudo sounds like kariudo (狩人) which means hunter so that checks out

Probably a Japanese pop culture thing. Tokusatsu heroes are kind of like modern samurai if you think about it. If it's a different weapon, then there's usually a thematic reason. Deka Red is a cop, so he gets guns. Geki Red is a martial artist, so he gets nunchucks.

In addition, other cultures, especially their military, leaders are often given a sword as a sign of leadership accumen, usually as a reward for years of service in a leadership position.

This is interesting because now I'm wondering if this character will have a matagi motif. If so, they could also repaint or retool the Tegasword head ring to look like an Akita dog instead of a wolf to match this antagonist character.

Mmm, another show where super happy with the suits but not the mecha. Or vice-versa. Gozyuger is the former this go-round.

I was happy with both in Kingohger, but only the Zero version. Boonboomger I wasn't happy with either, though the suits grews on me a tad. Mecha sucked.

Eh, can't blame ya. In essence, it was Kishiryuoh Three Knights and Lupin/Patkaiser all over again.

TegaSword is okay. Not great, but okay. It would've been better if they were animal mecha and a 5-piece Gattai Robo, though.

Heck, I think they could pull a Mega Vogager-equivalent if needed after summer.

Why settle for that when we can have a Gekiatsu Daioh equivalent to include a sixth component for the rumored Gozyu Polar?

I tried to analyze the similarities in themes and designs of the first four monsters with previous Super Sentai teams in the Gozyuger series.

01. Treasure Hunt No.1 is similar to Boukenger because both have a treasure hunt theme.

02. Popular No.1 is similar to 5 Magiranger members because both have animal-shaped visors. Then, both Popular No.1 and Magi Blue have mermaid motifs.

03. Party No.1 is similar to DonBrothers because both have party-themed powers. We already know the DonBrothers have "Party Time!" as their team finishing attack. Party No. 1 also wears sunglasses like the DonBrothers members and the design of Party No. 1's mouth is similar to Don Momotaro's mouth design.

04. Nosy No.1 is similar to Ryusoulger because Nosy No.1 has armor like a knight, which is the main theme of Ryusoulger. In addition, Nosy No.1 has an nautilus theme which is also similar to Ryusoul Gold's Ammo Knuckles mecha.
