Nothing very different yet, I'm afraid. We just put these out in a batch so people don't have to go to other websites to get them, honestly, but we'll get around to revamping them completely soon enough!

Fair enough, I'll hold out for those new versions then :) good luck with the project!

So LFSSS is officially dead then? Can't say I'm surprised as Flashman seems to be a cursed series.

The only day I got bored and decided to have some fun with excel. I made a chart of Super Sentai episodes and what is and isn't subbed. Here's some of my findings. This is only meant to show what has been accomplished, what's still left, and for some fun information.
First thing is there is a total of 1927 episodes of Super Sentai as of Ninninger episode 3. I am not counting anything that does not have an episode number. So no crossovers, Returns, TV specials, etc. With this data I was able to calculate what the 1000th episode was and when the 2000th will generally be. Carranger episode 20 is the 1000th episode of Sentai. Estimating Ninninger at 50 episodes means that next year's 40th Sentai will also have the 2000th episode of Super Sentai right in the middle of it. Here's hoping they have something fun planned for that. Now on to the subs. There's some room for error here and I tried to get it as up to date as I could. First, I did not count Battle Fever J as having anything subbed. Mainly because what's out there is basically unwatchable. I am also counting Ninninger as completed as it up to date. I might've overlooked something if it was like 1 episode 5 years ago or something like that. Lastly, I am counting TV-Nihon, Over-Time, and any sub group I can find. Love them or hate them, they all do count as long as they aren't making up fake subs. Anyways, here's the data on subs. 1302 episodes have been subbed 625 left to be subbed. 22 of the 39 series have been completed. 67.56% of Sentai is subbed. Of the 70's, zero series have been completed (unless you want to count those Battle Fever J subs I mentioned). Of the 80's, 3 of the series have been completed (Sun Vulcan, Maskman, and Liveman). Of the 90's, 5 have been completed and 2 have less than 10 episodes left. The 90's is also the first decade where no series has zero episodes subbed. Of the 00's, only 2 are incomplete (Timeranger and Hurricaneger) Finally, the 10's are all subbed, twice over even. Considering there's nearly 2000 episodes, I think the fan subbers have done a excellent job. Kudos to all of you and keep up the great work. Hope someone got something from this post. Now, I've compiled data for Kamen Rider to, so going to go over to that thread. EDIT: Quick note, I did not include Akibaranger. Toei doesn't count it within Super Sentai's numbers so I won't either. If you do, add 26 to the numbers. |
