My wife was making fun of me for my excitement over it all. I've tried other methods to replicate a black background, but none really made me as happy as this. Shots like yours are always something I strive to attain.

On that note, if you don't kind me picking your brain, how do you pull off the mirrored floor in your images. I can simulate it on white backgrounds with a small pane of glass, but the edge will show up on dark/black backgrounds.

Yeah I have to photoshop the edge out. It's pretty simple though. Most of my post process is removing that and random bits of dust.

I've only got a 6Mbps connection. Find a torrent of the entire show, and let it run all night, then you can watch at your convenience, even without an active connection (which has been great - I put the show on an external hard drive, then when I have to go camping, or otherwise be without internets I can still watch a show).

Meteor is a fun toy, despite being a strange design.

Are the foot pegs that far foward on the real bike? I don't know what kind of bike Machine Decader is built from.

Both of the above pics are gorgeous. I'll say especially the Tiger/Gai one, because I really favor that toyline, but they're both fantastic.

The sad thing is, I'm a programmer for a company that sells after market parts for motorcycles.

I think W is fine. We don't need a new one at all.

While I admit a W with better hips would be welcome, there are other older figures far more deserving of the renewal treatment first.

Better hips, more accurate head, more accurate colours, more accurate shoulder pads, better joints (those knees are ugly when bent) better articulation, better balance, better accesories... also, is it me, or ar the mould's arms too short?

The W mould is tragically behind current Figuarts. Even next to older ones like Decade and OOO it stands out as super inaccurate and awkward looking. I have no idea what the idea behind those kneeds were. W wears a body suit, but he gets the weird jigsaw kneepads that leave huge gaps around it like it's segmented armour.

I never mentioned a renewal W taking priority over anyone, so I don't know why you would. Just saying he needs one. He looks painfully inept next to the actual costume. Him and OOO.

I'm not implying you said that. Just stating that there are other figures that were made much more poorly than W that could use the treatment too. Honestly more so because they have more faults than W. A good example being the early OOO releases.

OOO does need a redo. At least TaToBa.

The primary issues of gummy hands, weak hips, and very weak clown feet was carried over to GataKiriBa. Any combo that uses the Tora torso or Bata legs has these issues. Though the later release like ShaUTa and on are better. PuToTyra is where it really improved.

Hips are fine. Head looks accurate to me. The only colors that are off are the knee and elbow joints, and that is not that big of a deal. Knee joints and shoulder pads are fine. What more do you want in accessories? He is Cyclone Joker, not a Metal or Trigger.

I fully welcome a new TaToBa just so I can drop my old one ASAP.

Not in anything other than a standing straight pose. Outside of that it looks like someone cut his legs off and they're just floating loosely in position. All the angles around the joint are straight cuts, which really doesn't look natural in the slightest.

Sorry, but you're wrong. I know everything's opinion, but no, just look at the head in profile and the actual helmet. You cannot be more wrong. The crest is all wrong, the eyes are the wrong shape. He needs a redo at some point.

I mean, you just outright lied. Even if it doesn't bug you, you can't say it looks accurate. It doesn't even look like the same design in profile. The SIC is more accurate in head profile.

It kind of is when you consider the current standard of Figuarts.

Also the green is the wrong shade and the black is REALLY ugly in all those different finishes. The head paint looks fine, but the foot is glossly black, and everything between is this cheap semi-gloss model looking black plastic.

No they're not. For one, he's not supposed to have knee pads. the simple fact that they're a seperate part goes against the design.

And the shoulder pads are too big and the wrong shape.

How about his most iconic gesturing hand ever? He's missing his iconic pointing hand, none of the hands W comes with function as an appropriate pointing hand.

It's funny how many excuses you make up when if this was any other figure these problems would be inexcusable. Hell, even Kabuto's getting a revamp and his figuart had half the issues W had.

I have no problem with my W when I don't have him in a straight up standing pose.

My W is a complete and utter mess (due to QC problems), so I would love to see a renewal.
