Am I like, the only person who watched the original Ducktails who isn't trying to propose to it?
What the fuck made that show so amazingly special?

The only old*90s* Disney cartoons I cared about were Gargoyles and House of Mouse so can't help you there.

I enjoyed Ducktails, don't get me wrong.
But when I started joining boards and forums, I found out that apparently Ducktails is remembered for 2 things.
It's infinitely catchy theme, and that it's apparently the greatest cartoon bar none at the time.

I saw Ducktales too. The thing I remember most about it was that I was bored whenever I watched it. Watching an old duck focus on money wasn't my bag then and it certainly isn't going to make me want to watch it or its reboot now.

I just think it's nostalgia factor playing up on people's feelings for a Disney show that just wasn't all that special compared to Darkwing and Gargoyles. At least that's how I feel about this.

House of mouse is 90's? I thought it was early 2000's.

I'm stunned that this "show" gets to live and yet Ben 10 and other GOOD shows are gone. Just what is their reasoning for this?

In theyre defense about Ben 10, the constant sequels were kinda getting tirying.

I like duck tales I grew up with rerun in the UK but I enjoyed alot. So did my bro who grew up with it. I just hope they don't ruin it.

Ben 10 went to shit for me the moment they decided to backtrack from Alien Force and regress Ben's character.

Alien Force was great. Ultimate was meh, meh but not horrible either. Everything else after was dumb to me.

In my opinion, the original was just spectacular and Alien Force was awesome as hell. But I agree with what Former said. Ultimate was alright. But it just went way down hill when Omniverse premiered. I'm not surprised that Ben 10 ended after that.

Been rewatching The New Adventures of He-man via DVDS I borrowed from my sister.

Honestly I'm liking this more than the Filmation series but not as much as 200X. He-Man is now a more believable character now that he's willing to fight to protect the peace, but he's still undeniably noble and kind to a fault. Also Skeletor can work with others without being too stupidly cruel, plus he's smarter and now can handle losing withing being a manbaby, all while keeping his trademark high voice style.

The supporting characters are pretty neat. The Galactic Guardians are good foils to He-man, even if they do seem a tad bland. The Mutants are a lively bunch with good chemistry with the bonehead. It helps that Flogg has common sense and cares for his troops and Slush Head is oddly adorable in a abnormal sense of the word.

It's not the best He-Man series but I feel it gets some unnecessary flack for changing a lot from the first series. It's aged pretty well for an early 90s cartoon so if you can find the episodes give a few of them a try.

Personally, Alien Force's animation bored me, while the story was good. It just didn't have the energy the original show did. Omniverse kind of had the opposite problem. Style wise it was similar to the original, and I loved the fact they brought back the effect Ben's watch had on his alien's clothing in regards to what he was normally wearing, but yeah the story was crap (especially the last seasons, dear lord).

I like to pick and savor parts of any season that I found enjoyable out of the clutter of awful, and I'm glad Omniverse happened solely for the creation of Rook. The Nemetrix wasn't a bad idea, as I'm a sucker for Bizzaro/Alt versions of heroes.

It looks like Brad Bird is writing the Incredibles sequel.

The only Pixar movie in recent history I am actually looking forward to.

I didn't mind Brave, but it really felt more like a film to come out under the Disney banner rather than a Pixar one.

This is going to be good (or at least better than Cars 2)

Brave I havent seen yet. Same with Up and Cars 2.

I really cant get myself to get all that excited about pixar films anymore.

Up had a few good moments but, overall, I found it absurdly schmaltzy. I haven't seen either of the Cars films because I find most of cast annoying. I feel you on Pixar films for the most part, though. I think the last one I felt the need to see in the theatre was Wall-E.

I think the last one I actually saw in theatres was the original Incredibles.

With Pixar films I am at that point some people are with the marvel movies. They are all kinda the same to me now and I mostly know what I am getting before I even saw the thing.

Which is probably why Disney annexed it.

And why is it that Cars got 2 sequels, a spin-off and a sequel to that spin-off but The Incredibles, a film that by its very nature is would spawn a sequelfest, is only NOW getting sequels?

Cars got sequels because the merchandise made Disney a ton of money.

I like Brave and Monsters Inc. 2. I never bother with Cars 2 since I didn't care for the first movie. I like Pixar over Dreamworks since Pixar only did one bad movie which was Cars. Dreamworks give us crap like Shrek 3, Shark Tale and Turbo. Those three movies where horrible in my opinion.

They made Merida an official Disney Princess so they could make even more money on that liscence.

Up is worth watching, Cars is decent, Cars 2 is meh.

Saw the Love Letters episode of Steven Universe.

It was cute seeing Jamie trying and failing to woo Garnet. The advice about how love takes time and consideration has real merit and I'm a sucker for shows with strong continuity.

I am sad that I missed parts of it due to dinner being cooked and served. At some point I should buy episodes on either iTunes or my PS4 so I can catch up.

Shit! First I didn't watch Shirt Club, then I didn't watch the new MLP episode, and now Love Letters! I need to marathon these now. :lol

No. MLP was a random phenomenon.
There is a collector scene, but there's basically a collector scene for every franchise.
But there is no brony equivalent.

Not really. That was more just the current producer/director/whomever for the new Care Bear series hoping something like that would occur. Hasbro didn't push for anything like a 2nd coming of MLP (Though any toy/series company would pray for that to occur).

Also, MLP Season 5 premiere? Second favorite season premiere now.
