The Batman comics from the 50's-60's where pretty campy at the time. I always felt like the Adam West show was pretty faithful to the tone at the time.

...I want to watch it. :lol |
Can I have a cronological timeline for DCAU? Already watching Batman TAS, and I want to see all of it

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) Superman: The Animated Series (September 6, 1996 – 2000) The New Batman Adventures (September 13, 1997 – 1999) – These are collected in the 4th volume of BTAS on DVD. Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998) Batman Beyond (January 10, 1999 – 2001) Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000) – There are two versions of this movie, one rated and one not rated. I suggest watching the unrated edition. Static Shock (September 23, 2000 – 2004) Lobo (2000) – Web Series. Gotham Girls (2000–2002) – Web Series. The Zeta Project (January 27, 2001 – 2002) – Spin-off of Batman Beyond. Justice League (November 17, 2001 – 2004) Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003) Chase Me (2003) – Short film based on The New Batman Adventures. Justice League Unlimited (July 31, 2004 – 2006) |

and while it's not part of the DCAU, I do encourage you to check out "Young Justice" if you're a Jaime fan (although, spoiler- he doesn't show up until the 2nd season). |
The Rebirth Super-Books are absolutely bonkers.
I mean, really. The Eradicator eats people (and Krypto) in Superman, there's a werewolf named Lar-On in Supergirl: Rebirth, there're two Superwomen in Superwoman (and one of them might've kicked the bucket), there's another Clark Kent in Action Comics, and then there's just the entire premise of New Super-Man. This is insane. I love it. (Even if I'm not following Action Comics right now.) Quote:

Otherwise, Batman Beyond would technically have to be last on the list despite coming out years before the JL cartoons and Static. |

Anybody read Legends Of Tomorrow?
If so how is it? |
I'm curious. What characters would people like to see in Injustice 2? As a more casual fan, here are characters I'd like to see somehow
Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom with CW Zoom costume John Constantine Plazmus Jinx Red Hood Beast Boy Clayface Nekron Captain Cold even though he's practically confirmed Black Manta as DLC EDIT: How the fuck did I forget Vixen and Static? |

Black Canary would be cool too |
I would much enjoy seeing Static, Captain Atom, Black Manta, and Beast Boy.
Vibe and Cheetah would be cool, too. |
I want Red Hood, Azrael, Terry Batman BEyond, Young Justice Aqualad, and Starfire.

I'd like Superman.
"But he's been in both games!" You can't me me that dick wasn't the Eradicator brainwashed into impersonating Superman. :p But Superwoman would be cool. And Kenan Kong. Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz, too. |

I'd rather we got Kyle over Simon or Jessica.

There would still be logical issues, of course, but at least I'd get a decent version of Superman. :lol Quote:

@KRX: Seeing as Hal lost his yellow ring and has been banned from green ones I doubt he's coming back. I'm with you; he's rather dull and lifeless compared to every other Earth GL.

Especially when compared to his rich best friend who watched his parents die right in front of his eyes and channeled that trauma by becoming a vigilante ninja/scientist/Olympic athlete/detective/linguist/etcetera who dresses up in a bat costume to go out and beat up criminals with the help of minors that he allows to join him in his war. I like Batman, but the guy's got some baggage. Quote:
I don't even know how you can explain that away... |
