I get where you are coming from, it?s a dirty move on Bandai?s part but also kinda genius from a business stand point. I want to collect main SMP Megazords from these lines but I found that there are to many of them and after completing my KingOhget Miniplas I?m just gonna restrict myself to get only SMPs from Zyuranger to Gokaiger.

That way I won?t have to go super crazy on model kits and I skipped Kiraranger when it comes to SMP and I won?t be getting Boomonger or whatever it?s called.

Im looking forward to Gingaman SMPs for this year, I hope they reissue all of GoGoV and finish up Megaranger because I want MegaWinger and MegaVoyager.

If Carranger, Ohranger or Timeranger comes out after Gingaman SMP line is complete those will be insta buys for me!

King Pyramider for Super Minipla would be insane, that's for sure.

GogoV and Bioman SMP products have been confirmed for re-release since it's Bioman's 40th anniversary and GogoV's 25th anniversary this year.

Well I missed out on GoGoV SMPs on the first run, this is my chance to get them all especially with Victory Mars on the way. When is Megaranger?s anniversary, maybe then we will finally get Mega Winger and Mega Voyager.

It's next anniversary will be it's 30th in 2027

I was expecting BullTaurus/Defender Torozord given the fact we're getting GingaiOh/Galaxy Megazord next month in June.

Gingaman/Lost Galaxy is what, 5 megazords total?

Does make me wonder if they'll actually make a GigaBitus that can actually hold the Steel Starbeasts, since not even the original toy could do so.

Kind of a downer that we aren't getting a reissue of the Super Minipla Black Max Victory Robo/Lifeforce Megazord.

I'm holding out hope we'll get a possible announcement

I would kill to see Minipla remakes of the other Kyouryuger mecha/Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge Zords. I know we are getting Minipla remakes of Kyouryujin Dark/Black Dino Charge Megazord and Stegotchi/Stego Zord and Dricera/Tricera Zord, but I do want Minipla remakes of Parasagun/Para Zord, Zakutor/Raptor Zord, Ankydon/Ankylo Zord, Bunpachy/Pachy Zord, Pteragordon aka PteraidenOh/Ptera Zord and Ptera Charge Megazord, Plezuon and PlezuOh/Plesio Zord and Plesio Charge Megazord, Bragigas and Gigant BragiOh/Titano Zord and Titano Charge Megazord, and of course Tobaspino/Spino Zord.

I'd say there's potential.

so quick question for everyone
i was moving around some of my minipla/SMP and i kept finding small fractures on the plastic
mainly on the LightSpeed Megazord, but to be frank i never trusted that one would last since it always felt like they tried to fly to close to the sun with the articulation on that one and the plastic clearly paid the price
and im starting to get real worried about the Lost Galaxy set since it looks like the legs on that are doing A LOT

so i guess my question is has anyone been having any problems with pieces breaking that i should be careful about?
are any kits that are safe to move around? the thunder megazord looks and feel very solid is that good to mess around?

If a piece seems fragile, it probably is, unfortunately. SMP may be a step up from your standard Minipla, but these aren't Gunpla.

They can be handled, as I haven't had much problem with the few I own, but I would do so with more care, especially to avoid overstressing some delicate areas.

Just a thought, but how about applying ABS-specific adhesive for model kits to the fractures and then sanding the glued surface with fine sandpaper after it's dry? It's likely the nearest hobby store might carry one of those, if not there are always online stores. I bring this up because iirc Super Minipla parts use ABS plastic.

Sadly I already broke a piece on GaoGod since I forgot the shark had some extra joints so it's now barely holding one

It's alright, I manage to re attached the arm with out the extra joint so the arm itself still works

It just can't transform or move that much but it still works well enough

Bandai will be releasing the Minipla Bakuage Gattai Series 03 Byun Byum Mach Robo & BoonBoom Marine & BoonBoom Safari on August 12, 2024 for 450 yen a piece (495 yen with 10% tax). The set will be 2,700 yen (2,970 yen with 10% tax). Looks like we got ourselves a price increase.

Oh wow Torozord is going to be Pre-Bandai? That sucks considering Gingaman/Lost Galaxy only have so many zords in the series.

The Zenith carrier zord definitely screams Pre-Bandai if they decide to do it along with the other 2 zords

Which they probably will. As long as the core product like Gingaioh isn't premium I'm fine in most cases if they make stuff like Bull Taurus premium.

6th rangers are almost always P-Bandai

Dinomegazord was retail, dragonZord and titanus where P-Bandai
Lightspeed Megazord was the only of the 5 releases in that season to be retail
Wild force broke the mold by having THREE releases be regular retail
But still over half the season was P-Bandai

For what are mere add-ons to the head, sword, and chest, it does give it some extra style without doing too much. Amazing what they've achieved with so little. I would love to see design majors dissect what makes it work.

Dragonzord wasn't exclusive to Premium Bandai. Neither was Predazord. The only 6th ranger zords to be Premium Bandai exclusive are the White Falcon Ninjazord from MMPR S3, the Max Solarzord from PRLR, and the White Tiger Thunderzord from MMPR S2. White Falcon Ninjazord and Max Solarzord were exclusive to PB, because Kakuranger and GoGoV did not have sixth members. I kind of wish the White Tiger Thunderzord WASN'T exclusive to PB consiering it's the 6th ranger zord. I just find it hypocritical that the Dragonzord and Predazord got normal releases while the White Tiger Thunderzord was exclusive to PB. Really does not make a whole lot of sense if you ask me.

The SMP (Shokugan Modeling Project) Kijuu Gasshin Bull Taurus/Defender Torozord and Lights of Ginga/Lights of Orion set will go up for pre-order on August 23 at 1:00 PM (tonight at 12:00 AM) and will be released in December 2024. The price is 8,000 yen (8,800 yen with 10% tax). And yes, it is a Premium Bandai exclusive. It doesn't bother me considering I got the GingaiOh/Galaxy Megazord from PB. No teasers for the rest yet.

While I'm still underwhelmed by it's overall design, the added articulation does wonders for Go Taurus. Goes to show just how much a dynamic pose can raise up a design.

Bitus is gonna be nice. That said, I wonder how many of SMP Jaguar Vulcan's parts they're gonna re-use since Bitus is Jaguar Vulcan repurposed for the kids of 1998.

Honestly could see them using the core design cues, but otherwise outside of an overall similar vehicle mode, GigaBitus also transforms allowing it to launch the Steel Starbeasts (which if it's going to actually store them, he's gonna be one big SMP, honestly hoping it is relatively out of scale to remain a reasonable price)

Considering even the DX Giga Bitus couldn't actually store the Steel Starbeasts, I would assume they likely would recreate that for SMP, using micro figs to represent them.

Yeah, definitely some additional work will be required if they do use it as a basis.

I'm surprised that Bandai did not reveal silhouettes for the other Gingaman mecha/Lost Galxy zords yet. Why is that I ask.
