We will probably see three more new characters announce. I bet it will be a new fighter, returning fighter and one more third party character.

A 4chan leakier eariler claims that Paper Mario, Wolf, Ravio from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Steve from Minecraft will be announce for Smash 4 on Tuesday. However I doubt it.

I'm hearing the Wolf and Paper Mario leak a lot, but I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.

Paper Mario could have a pretty cool move set. I don't like the idea of a Minecraft character in Smash and it would be a total waste of a third party character in my opinion. I will be cool with Wolf returning though.

I know it's not gonna happen but I really wish we could've gotten a Monster Hunter playable character. The Mii fighter costume is cool and everything, but it's always nice to see MH love.

Well, the Hunters are kind of in the same boat as the Warrior of Light from FF in that there is no real character to add.
I'd like it, though.

It would be so awesome playing as a Felyne/Palico though.

I'm really looking forward to play as Cloud. He's one of my favorite FF characters.

I'm probably gonna pick him up, but I'm not super hype.
Then again, he might just surprise me and be super fun to play, so who knows.

From what i hear the dataminers aren't directly telling people what the leaks are and are just giving hints as to what they are.

You know what they say in the hood. Snitches get stitches. Except it's not good/possible to hurt someone across the internet.

So it turns out: Nothing major was leaked in the patch. Cloud's victory animation, some music, a change to the Kalos pokemon league stage that's not clear yet, a new hat. Seems like only one part of the patch though, as it seems to be conspicuously absent of a lot of stuff for being the super hyped final presentation patch.

I am glad the community has kept a tight lid on not seeing this, or as badly as it could have been. And Sakurai for finally figuring out how to plug the leaks after everything we've been through.

I saw another mild spoiler from the datamining and all i got to say, Sakurai you magnificent troll.

The final new character is...

Bayonetta.

Well.. I'm a bit disappointed with the ballot results... She was supposedly the top pick from Europe and "in the top 5" for the US. I know a lot like her, but I really didn't expect that. Although he did clarify that as "realizable" characters so as the top choice of just first and second party choices makes a bit more sense I guess.

That's a cool Kirby hat though.

At least the Sonic fans got Mii Costumes for Tails and Knuckles. Bayonetta was quite a disappointment though... People aren't believing what was said about her in the ballot either.

I like Bayonetta as a character. Her inclusion was for the best and I love that they didn't shy away from her.
Certainly beats out shit options everyone else was vying for like Shantae and Shovel Knight.
Not a fan of another FE sword user. Fuck, I'd actually take Wolf or even Pichu over him, but whatever, Bayonetta makes up for it. I also like that they included ice cream cone head for her~

Geno as an outfit is fine with me. I might pick him and the Ashley costume, too. None of the others really mattered to me.

In all, I'm fine with this. Gonna pick up Cloud tomorrow (Rather...Next month, since I don't have the money :lol) because I'm not in the mood to fight the rush, gonna buy Bayonetta and I guess what's his face when they're released, too.

I am totally buying that Knuckles costume, it looks pretty cool.

And no Isaac. Not even as a Mii fighter costume. I'm bitter.

I honestly don't mind Bayonetta's inclusion (not that I play the game much anymore.. actually kinda miss that from college heh). It was probably her coming hot off the heels of Corrin's announcement that made me sour. I too am happy she beat choices like Shantae and Shovel Knight; she just also wasn't anyone I had wanted in badly.

Although I still struggle to believe she won. I'm curious what the top picks were from all regions, inclusive of non-"realiziable" ones.

Honestly, the only thing I wanted that didn't get added was Wolf (Because of the 3, I used him the most in Brawl), but oh well.

Not only I am happy that Cloud Strife is in Smash Bros but Bayonetta as well. Corrin was not the surprising character to be announced but it was decent and OK for Corrin overall.

I had my Smash Bros tournament at school today and we had the presentation streaming while it was happening. I lost my shit at Bayonetta, not because she was a character I want, but she was unexpected. I knew she was a pick, but that was out of ike 20 name people constantly mentioned alongside Shovel Knight, K Rool, Snake, e.t.c. Although all of her moves look cool.

Corrin disappointed me. Another fire emblem character? But people will like him. Hell, I like Roy and he's sort of a clone.

Kinda bummed that Namco didn't get a second rep but Sega and Capcom did.

Also, I didn't think we'd get Fates' protagonist now. I thought they'd replace Lucina in 5. That's neat, and WHAT?!? Bayonetta?!? I thought she was impossible! I'm sad we didn't get Wonder-Red, but I am happy that Platinum got some love, they deserve it. She does make more sense than Wonder-Red, since Bayonetta IS Platinum's most popular game. I'll buy her, she looks fun to play as. Am I upset that the character I wanted didn't get in? Yeah, but I'm perfectly fine with who we got, and I look forward to playing as them.

I love Corrin's design and look. I can't wait for him.

She is smart but if i recall from the game she not that smart, she just pretends to be to mess with Pit.
