Like Saban would go out of his way to put gold armor on the Black Ranger when he had a perfectly more popular Green Ranger to have extra flare. :p

I really hate to say it, but Figuarts Red-Buster is by far the most horrible Figuart I own to date :(

Red-Buster's chest is molded so that he's standing heroic, but with the shoulder straps, they stand in the way of his arms, the arm are hindered so that he can't really do his "Busters Ready... GO" pose AT ALL, his hand pegs are shorter than previous figuarts, and the wrist straps makes that space even shorter, so pegging the hands on are a PITA, if anyone breaks the hand peg on the Red-Buster? I would not be surprised. He came with practically nothing, few set of hands, gun and sword but no camera or binocular mode, I know that they never used it in morphed mode, but not likely Bandai will ever release the Go-Busters in civilian form, so why not include them here?

Compared to what I've been used to with other Sentai Reds, and Fourze Figuarts, Red Buster is a dud for me.

Well now I'm definitely not picking up any Go-Busters figures other than Red Buster. I already have him coming, but now there's no way I'll pick up another Go-Buster figuart if the mold sucks as much as you say.

*sighs*Dammit Bandai. Now I'm not even sure I want to get my cast favorites anymore. Which REALLY REALLY sucks because Ryuuji is my favorite Blue of all time currently :(.

I knew my initial thoughts of him were well founded. He just looked so 'off' and Blue and Yellow have felt the same to me. Red looks massively unimpressive and even though I want to try and get all the Sentai Reds your experience really makes me not want him at all. I truly hope that Stag and Beet aren't ruined like Red Blue and Yellow.

Also am I the only one whose mildly disappointed with Bouken Red? :(

I absolutely love Boukenger. It's of my favorite sentais ever. But Bouken Red just feels, poorly executed. Which is a shame because I was so excited for him. He's so flat chested, his hands feel too small and extremely cheap, he doesn't come with a fully closed Accelluar, and the upper arm swivel is detrimental to him because of his 2-tone arm color. These are nitpicks I know but they all come together to make him feel kinda odd.

Hey... if they can make a figure of GokaiChristmas and Eternal Red Flare... I don't see why they won't make a Shielded Mammoth...

My Figuarts Taiga just got in. I was extremely on the fence with this guy mainly because I've started to waver in my pursuit of all 13 (+2...+1...and maybe Abyss)Riders after putting down the order for Genocider.

Once I got him out of the package, I was pleased as hell. Say what you will about the character, the Taiga suit design is awesome and the 2 main accesories gives you all th more reason to love him. The Axe is gravy, a great size and detail on it. The Tiger claws are great but it is scary to insert the ball into the socket (your essentially doing it blind) so be a little careful.

The shoulders are ever slightly hinder by the claw motiff his shoulder pads sport. The top part of his armor is a little more movable (think Ouja) so you could probably work around it.

I like this figure. But I've noticed a glaring trend. After Ouja...Gai,Raia and Taiga sport the same black base suit, a departure from the colored suits Ryuki, Knight and Zolda sport.

And if my memory serves all the future Riders sport the same feature so that's a bit of a bummer. Maybe Abyss has an Aqua blue type color suit but I'm stretching. Anyway, if that doesn't bother you at all and you don' mind Tojo's confused Hero Complex madness, get this figure. Oh and the joints on mine were REALLY tight.

Not just you, I opened Bouken Red before Red Buster, and thought he was unimpressive other than the reimplementation of the upper arm swivel (that I love) but you are right, on the two tone suit it doesn't look good. The gun pegs in loosely, the neck doesn't quite bend forward, the hands are almost see through, the Accellular in detect mode is just a joke, you can't even see it. I'm just happen that it came with the Bouken Shovel because the Inordinate Cannon is flipping awesome!!

Bouken red just suffers from a lot of small problems that really add up, which is very disappointing. He was one of the individual releases I was looking the most forward to this year. I still don't understand why he doesn't come with a fully closed Accelluar too. But those hands are awful. The snap/attack hand looks like he's trying to pick up something really tiny more than anything. It isn't convincing at all. And why on earth would I need 2 Survibusters when one can peg onto the belt and the other can't? I know one is SLIGHTLY more accurate than the other but still.

And the cannon is awesome except that there's almost no way to get it on a Tamashii Stage :lol

Can I be honest? I'll wait until, and if, these come over thanks to Bluefin. I don't see getting Akiba-Red so I don't need the extra bits. And for anything else: I don't really play with Figuarts. Gosei Knight is a shelf peice.

Yeah, Black Ranger in the Zyu2 footage used the gold shield. Geki was the only one who used it in ZyuRanger.

I don't think you'll have a problem finding Red Buster. He's still in stock with AmiAmi.

Aside from Ryuga, the Survives and Abyss way way back, not really. And with Taiga in my possession I am safely more than half-way to Ryuki completion.

Just got my Bouken Red, and immediately upon taking him out of the box I agree with the sentiments about his weird flat-chest. And the neck. The hands don't bother me than much though, and I'm still loving the amount of accessories the guy comes with.

Also, this is the first red I've picked up that was in Akibaranger so I didn't realise it came with extra hands for them (upon thinking about it I'm not surprised though). Do either of the others come with extra Akiba hands too?

I suppose it be easy for them to do Onyx anyway.

Only Bouken Red comes with the extra hands. And those are just so Akiba Yellow and Blue can hold the sides of the cannon when it's combined. Not sure why both sets came with Chief but hey I'll take any bonus Bandai gives me.

Opened DekaBlue and was playing around with it. Excellent figure. Even though it's just a repaint of DekaRed it looks nice. The stupid shoulder things are matte, not shiny like on DekaRed. The red jewel/glass on the helmet naturally stands out against the blue. The blue itself is a very attractive, dark blue. The color scheme in general pops very nicely.

I'd been going back and forth on whether to continue buying the DekaRangers because the ones after Red are all expensive exclusives, but I'm glad I decided to get him. Definitely getting DekaGreen and Yellow and Pink.

Is anyone else having major problems plugging the tiny Accellular into the back of his belt. I don't like the weird "w" hole being there, and that thing does not want to stay in.

I was wondering what that hole is for, how are you supposed to plug it in? was it a part of the show?

I don't remember it being part of the show, so I guess its supposed to just be for accuracy sake if you have the figure holding one of the open Accellulars. The closed Accellular has the corresponding shape on the back to slot in, but because the belt bit is slightly curved (and the piece straight) it either only fits to one side or just hangs there really loosely.

but... it doesn't come with a closed accellular...

EDIT Never mind! Found it! it was still in package, damn you Bandai and your insanely tiny parts!! to be fair, it's not really a closed accellular, since half of the detail is missing :p

Mine pegs in just fine though, it has a "m" shaped groove that fits it perfectly for me

Its that tiny silver piece between the two guns in the tray. I didn't think it was an Accellular at first, but the Japanese text on the instructions for it match the text by the other two Accellulars.

Seriously? Its half the size of the actual Accellulars! I thought it was the damn Scope Shot for the Survibuster :(

Pretty much resembles MMPR Red. Red, White and Green were the most likely choices, in that order.

Yeah, I wish it were something crazy like the Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger, but MMPR Red is the safest bet from what I can make out. There's a diamond shape on the boot, so it has to be something from the original team.

How funny would it be if it was anybody BESIDES Red?

It'd be an incredibly horrible business move to make it out of anyone except MMPR Red, White or Green. One is the first of the leaders and the most important of each team, another is the most iconic in the franchise and the other was the first evil ranger.

Well obviously they'll make Red first. I just think it'd be funny if they showed someone else since everyone is expecting Red.

Yeah I can't see if being anyone but red. But do you know what I'm most looking forward to about an MMPR Figuart?
