because you have to factor in IVs, EVs, natures, and egg moves into it all. I'm afraid I might screw up along the way.

EVs aren't a factor for eggs.
Natures can be passed down with the Everstone.
Egg moves and chain breeding are easy.
IVs are the only real difficult factor.

Could always try to get an international ditto. I managed to luck out with finding one through wonder trade.
