I've got a few new team members in Kiryu, Mezool, and soon Heathcliff (Although he's more for fun) that I'd like to try out but it'll have to wait until at least next week. And by then I might even have more.

In the meantime I've finally finished breeding and evolving everything I reasonably can/want to and fleshed out my dex. That'll be quite the load off for transferring everything form White 2 in the future now.

So that just leaves me back to Zapdos and Mewtwo. So I'm trying to breed a Timid synchronizer for the latter and my Dittos just have everybody so it's taking a while.

Shame.

Anyway, anyone free to help me evolve another one of my Pokemon?

Say, if you take a male with the desired moveset and breed with a female with the desired ability and they are the same species, what happens? Would I get a Swinub that knew Icicle Crash, Ancient Power, Earthquake and Stealth Rock and had Thick Fat?

Or should I just use my Smeargle?

It's probably shy because it's species can't do anything useful.

Either gender could pass down moves now.
Only females can pass down Hidden Abilities (Males can only pass them down when breed with Ditto).

While the moveset should be what you want (I don't think Ancient Power is one of Swinub's egg moves, though. Icicle Crash and Stealth Rock should definitely be passed down, however), the chance to pass down a hidden ability is only 60-80% (I've seen it cited as both).
