Only females can pass down Hidden Abilities (Males can only pass them down when breed with Ditto).

While the moveset should be what you want (I don't think Ancient Power is one of Swinub's egg moves, though. Icicle Crash and Stealth Rock should definitely be passed down, however), the chance to pass down a hidden ability is only 60-80% (I've seen it cited as both).

And even though I don't do the whole "tiers" thing, I do use Smogon for movesets and EV spreads which is why I'm very impatient for the X/Y update.

The mechanics are different in Black/White. In Gen 5, hidden abilities are only passed down by the mother, while egg moves are only passed down by the father.



Eevee has a gender split of 87.5% male/12.5% female.
