For half an episode Wataru got brainwashed by one of the upper echelon Fangires and went bat-$%&* crazy.

Was it just half an episode? I swear it lasted longer than that...

It's not even 2 minutes actually. The stained glass-eyes appear at the tail end and very beginning of episodes 39 and 40 respectively. The berserk status lasts for a few seconds more but weirdly enough at that point he has the red eyes again.

The aftermath of Wataru losing control and him refusing to fight again is handled in almost 2 entire episodes however, you might remember the event itself as more substantial because of that.

Maybe they will include it with Seihou Saga ?

It is one of the few things of Kiva that I do remember post-Emperor debut (some weird things decide to stick in my mind), so that's probably it

Maybe this sounds like something that doesn't matter to most people, but it does ~slightly~ bother me that the 50th re-issues have very lovely looking stands that you're intended to put tamashii stand arms into... and they don't come with tamashii stand arms? Granted it's not like any of the figures have trouble standing on it without one, but it still sticks out as odd to me

Oh, no, that matters to me too. I have Geiz and I'm also disappointed that the Ridewatch stands don't have stand arms or at the very least the stand arms aren't the same 3mm peg size as most figures do so I can't plug in a Figma arm. There's a hole in there, why isn't it used?! I would have preferred if Geiz came with his weapon instead of the stands, they did it for Night Rogue and Charge.

Now there's a hole on the 50th stands that goes unused. Also, related, Zero-One doesn't have his own stand like Double and ZI-O. Yet Decade does. I can't be displaying the three eras and they're lacking in stands, I guess one would have to steal Decade's, then?

The Ridewatch Stage sets were also a miss. All 10 inserts were included (since the sets were divided by Heisei and Neo-Heisei), but only 5 of the actual stages were packed in.

Almost worse is that it was actually 9 inserts per box -- Zi-O's stage was exclusive to SHF Geiz, and Kiva's stage was exclusive to first runs of Seihou Kiva. Definitely made those two annoying to get

I definitely would have gone for those Ridewatch stands if not for the Zi-O and Kiva silliness. I ended up making my own from a friend acrylic laser cutter.

Yeah for sure the fact they only included 5 stands but yet 9 inserts for the ridewatch sets was annoying...I still need to grab one more set just so I can display all the ridewatches...the missing arms is annoying and confusing as well because they could do like the dragon ball event exclusive stands set

It is indeed a weird selection, but I doubt about the "stock that failed to sell". These are P-Bandai stuff, made-to-order stuff. Those Metal Builds don't fit in that category too

That just means they hit the target number of the maximum stuff they want to make. They may be made-to-order, but they can only make so much , unless something was so popular that they'll have to go for another run.

I think that's a case where the factory reaches a cap on the number of figures it can make. They close the reservation before there's too many orders they could physically produce
