I think Hasbro could make gi joe-like cartoons.

Already did that.

I'm not kidding, that chunk of plastic has such a huge following it managed to get a modernized version Kickstarter-ed a year or two ago to a smashing succcess, and it's due to release within the next year.

you mean, the gi joe extreme ? it's was just a new joe cartoon which fail miserable and besides the most line performs well was Action Man animated series/cartoons.

So do you not know about, or are you ignoring the existence of:

- The Sunbow cartoon
- The movie based on the Sunbow cartoon
- The DiC cartoon that followed up on the Sunbow cartoon and movie
- SpyTroops and Valor vs. Venom CGI movies
- Sigma Six
- Resolute miniseries
- Renegades

And please tell me how Action Man performed better than any of them because I can guarantee you it did not.

I mean, a new gi joe-lik cartoons could serve as somekind of sub-teams and about Action Man he had some few shows in 90's and 2000's.

First they'd have to actually commit to Joe as a franchise worth sustaining past lightly updated nostalgia and a comic, which is a medium they can be hands-off with.

You may be seeing the flaw in this.
