I used to use Neo-Heisei, but then I started using Phase 2 to protest against people using "Neo-Saban" to refer to the Saban Brands Era. :lol

Yeah, I mean, who would expect Takeru to use 8 Eyecons to become Ghost? That henshin would've taken way too long, so it made sense for the number pattern to be made more abstract to accommodate the need for simplicity in the gimmicks. There's usually more than one reference to the number anyway, like Wizard not only has 5 fingers but also 5 elements: Fire, Wind, Water, Earth and Holy.

It's debatable whether it can even be considered a theory at this point, as I recall the producer Ohmori Takahito himself made a statement confirming that EX-Aid is connected to the number 10 (so that means Gotchard is Reiwa EX-Aid :p). If someone can find reference to 9 in Amazons, the pattern technically still works.

For me personally, nitpicking about terminology is pointless as long as everyone understands what it is about. As example, calling the Skyrider as the New Kamen Rider is not only confusing, but outdated.

I know it might be too early, but what band or artist(s) would you like to perform Gotchard opening?

Does Toei still only use musicians who have Avex as their label?

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some returning artists, would love to hear someone like OOO's singer or even Beverly who sang Be the One would be cool

As for bands we've never heard before there's none I know who have Avex as their label so I don't think anyone I'd pick would even be an option sadly

So new rumor just dropped regarding Gotchard?s third rider, apparently the character is actually an AR Decade rather than Decade himself (although apparently he very much behaves like Tsukasa). The rumor also stated that the recent spread of rumors saying it?s actually Decade echos the Twokaiser situation (apparently at the time before Twokaiser appeared in Zenkaiger there were rumors that Marvelous would return to play him & that obviously turned out to be bogus and Twokaiser was simply themed after the Gokaigers. Apparently it?s the same deal here).

As always grain of salt guys, and either way we?ll find out soon enough.

As expected. So, it turns out the show will be blue Ichigo, pink Chaser and yellow Decade. And this is not counting the similarities with many previous shows. Looks like Hasegawa wrote Gotchard as his version of the anniversary show.
