Episode 4, they fight just like them and the monster is a Monger like Sun Vulcan.

Watched more Battle Fever J, episode 17 was okay but 18 was much better, love Battle Cossack episodes. Hope it picks up more soon, I know the first ranger change is happening soon and the main female villain shows up next episode so here's hoping.

Eh, I personally wouldn't call the whole episode a tribute. It's not like Vul Shark showed up corrupted into being a janitor.

I haven't watched 6 yet, but I was hoping OT would have had 7 out by now so I could watch them both back to back.

Well, I just started watching Time Ranger, and it's pretty good. I think I'll start watching Zyuranger next, and see how different it is from MMPR.

And Shocker means REALLY slowly. Like one episode a month because if I recall, nothing has been subbed beyond the 12th episode.

Curious though, whose subs are you watching? I have both Nihon's and OT's and I have to say, OT's are superior just for the fact that every file works on my tv. For some reason, the first 5 or 6 Nihon episodes will not.

Speaking of subs, holy freaking crap. GUIS is already up to episode 45 of Maskman. I was planning to start watching it this summer and taking my time with it as I figured they would be around episode 30 by the time the school year ended.

Oh man, talking of all these old Sentai have reminded me that I've seriously fallen behind on Kakuranger!

I've been behind on Kakuranger. That way I can fool myself away from thinking that I'm watching a show that's constantly being subbed.

They've been doing an episode a day for the last few weeks. It'll be completely done by the end of next week :D

I just finished the first two episodes of Zyuranger. And I gotta say, I quite liked it. Don't quite get why Bandora's Palace started on a skyscraper before going to the moon, but eh, can't complain too much. Out of all of the characters so far, Dan and BukBuka are probably my favorite. Mei is kinda nice as well, but...her voice is kinda annoying to me...

Okay I just started episode 3...and am I the only one who thinks that the five headed dragon looks like Ghidorah?

All this Turbo makes me want to watch Carranger, now. :lol

Just finished Battle Fever J Episode 19 it has been my favorite episode so far. New female villain who is awesome, the Main Villain's general fights too. A perfectly even fight between Battle Fever and Egos.

Is someone subbing BFJ?

It's fully subbed and all the episodes are on KRDL, the problem is the video quality is absolutely atrocious.

So I'm up to episode 8 of Zyuranger...and holy crap it's the pig monster. I loved this guy and episode as a kid.

Okay, I know what you are referring to. I couldn't even make it through 5 minutes due to the video quality. I am trying to figure out if the subbers think this is 2000 when the quality like that was considered acceptable.

I'd rather watch Blade at the current crap quality it's subbed at than wait for someone to pay a small fortune for the DVDs (If they even exist) for them to be subbed at a snail's pace these days.

There are dvd ripped raws of Blade available now, but as far as I know no one is using them for anything. It's a pity, as Blade is commonly regarded as one of TVN's sloppiest translations.

That makes me curious, not being a Japanese speaker, to see the errors in their Blade translations.

And seriously? That's disappointing, considering the quality of their video looked like someone accidentally dropped a VHS into a bucket of water at times :I

I'm pretty determined to finish off Gekiranger this week, and as of now I just polished off episode 43, in which Ken kidnaps a foreign child and forces him to enjoy Christmas. It was weird.

Yes it's totally horrible video quality, but I fell in love with it after morbid curiosity.

Which is funny because I have the DVDs and offered to help Nihon with those and KakuRanger several years ago and was ripped a new one on their forums with them saying, "If we want to sub it with the DVDs, we'll buy them ourselves."

With that said, pretty much any tv rip from before GekiRanger needs to be redone as the video looks like **** and the codecs are so old no device that isn't a computer can run them.

And I'd rather watch my Blade DVDs raw than watch the show with subtitles.

Currently I am going between Maskman and Gokaiger.

You know what I find weird in my watching of Zyuranger? Goldar doesn't talk. Yet he talked all the time in MMPR.

Which one are you liking more? My next Sentai after BFJ might be one of those.

If you watch MMPR, it's either American footage or his lips aren't moving.

There is a reason for it. You will see when you are in the middle of the Dragon Ranger arc. In fact, you pretty much learn why the entire crew is working with Bandora.

Someone is re-translating it and another Heisei Rider as well.

Not sure when they would come out as the person is working on other projects.

Is that - assuming you're at liberty to say - the same person from Onore TVN that's going to be doing the new translation of Den-O? Either way, it's good news.
