I beat the eight gym leader in X... That was freaking easy. As i looked at hi's silloute on the trainer card i was convinced he was gonna be intimidating but when i got to him i though.
"This guy look like that uncle everyone in a family talks about! He's not intimidating at all!"

Yeah the gyms really aren't difficult at all I'm finding, hell the trainers in Reflection Cave gave me more problems than any of the Gym battles.

The big gap between the first and second gym is probably what made the rest of the game easier I imagine.

Lol, he looks adorable. Shame he's a dragon type though. I already have tyrantrum and now dragalgae (sp?) Which is probably a bit much already. However they both look freaking awesome, so they ain't going anywhere.

Can't decide whether ditch my lanturn though. Its always been my favourire water poke but it's stats are terrible next to the rest of my team =\

Ugh, this game/gen is breaking me!

On victory road right now, i'm forced into a position where i had to use my HM slaves and i hate it.

Although Gen 6 does give us a ton of great stuff I'm starting to count up my most hated Wild Pokemon to encounter:

*Chatot. Never stays in a ball, always either puts my team to sleep or confuses them.
*Miltank. Even after four generations it still steamrolls almost everything.

I gotta say, it probably is still Trapinch, like it was in Gen III. Arena Trap prevents running away, which is really annoying!

Beat the Elite 4 last night.
Ironically, the Champion was the easiest one to defeat out of all of them :lol

I wanted to take Battra (Noivern) and Metal Alice (Scizor) with me, but they were only level 50-55, so they weren't up to the task, and adding them onto my team last minute would've thrown off the synergy I had built up with my team already.

Oh well. Got a Lapras with it's hidden ability in the Friend Safari (Shame that it's Hydration, when Water Absorb is so much better), and a female Charmeleon, so there were some pluses.

But in Gen 3 did they follow you when you tried to avoid their little overworld dust cloud thingies?

Gaim took care of the first member on his own, and Ryusei just took out the second. Hana and Kirigiri will fight the third ^_^

I don't normally care about gender, but a Pokemon can be born with it's Hidden Ability when it's the mother who has it, right?

I've never been fully understanding of breeding mechanics (there's a pickup line waiting to happen :P) but I think some things have changed in the new generation. I know that some moves don't get passed down from parents anymore but I have no idea about abilities.

Yes. Not guaranteed. Not sure what the odds are.

If I recall correctly, the mother needs to hold an Everstone.

Am I the only one who yells "rider kick!" when blaziken dose his flame kick thing? Also the sentai rider watch thing to active the mega evolutions was an awesome nodd.

That's for passing down natures. And it doesn't matter which parent holds it now. Either parent will pass it down. If both parents have an everstone, the offspring has a 50/50 of either of the two natures from the parents.

And I checked, the odds of a mother passing down a hidden ability is 60%

I knew it wasn't a 100% thing. I just wanted to know if it was the father or the mother who could pass their ability down.

I thought that was to pass the nature down, but whatever. Not up for taking chances :lol
