While those do look like some of the worst sticker hell figures I've seen in Sodo, they really weren't left with many options for the price point given barely any of the details line up with what's already molded on the figure.

Still doesn't look nearly as bad as Cross Saber. Even then, the worst stickers are small, thin, and long stickers with little room for error on curved surfaces. Only time big stickers are really bad are when they're not designed to fit properly (looking at you, Kikai).

Anyways, I'm so happy that Jeanne, Lovekov, and almost all of Jeanne's stuff are in the same wave. All that's missing is the turtle bazooka. That's enough for me to buy the case.

Done with customizing Kamen Rider Demons. Fixing the elbows isn't to hard, though they still have no where near as much range as other figures. This was fun to paint for the most part. There's a lot of details the paint and stickers just didn't pick out.

The blue paint fought with me (blasted Gundam Markers), but my red paint was almost an exact match. Picking out all those Lord Zedd like muscles in a nigh perfect paint was delightful.

He can use the Burning Falcon wings, though it barely fits. A filler piece like the stand extender from Ex-Aid helps. Hope they do another set of these wings with a new back piece that fits this mold better.

Wow, I'm honestly considering getting Rising Hopper, that pattern is really cool.
I honestly don't see why they can't just raise the price enough to paint the backside and other details consistently though, almost ruins the look given these are supposed to be collector items in contrast to So-do.
But please, just give me the rest of the Ex-Aid Riders and Muteki.

I honestly don't know what the Kuuga suit is supposed to look like canonically now.

Regarding the paint application, the SHODO series has always been so close yet so far for me. They are painted well but they don't go all the way, so why bother. Especially in Heisei suits, there is just too much detail that gets left out.

Is it worth it to double dip on both shodo and sodo?

Sometimes. They generally bring something different to the table. I've double dipped plenty and also skipped plenty because I had the other already. If something looks good to to, go for it. I own a figure of everything in this wave and I'm highly considering getting it because they most look to be big improvements over what I have.

I tend to have more fun with SO-DO figures. Putting them together definitely has that "Ikea effect" and they are easier to customize and paint than SHODO.

Personally, SO-DO are easier for me to acquire than SHODO. The way SO-DO follows the currently running series also means there's more hype surrounding the releases.

Overall I'm very happy with this final wave, but I have a couple nitpicks that doesn't make this wave as strong as the past two. First off, I'm still annoyed Tiger doesn't include the much more memorable claw weapons. I might have to 3D print my own or hope someone is selling the extra set from the PB release.

Second, the Alternative figure just doesn't really do it for me. I'm glad they included all the show suits throughout the entire line, but I don't care much for this design and it sticks out among the rest of the Ryuki aesthetic.

Overall though, the Ryuki line has been really good and well worth picking up. The new additions to this line ( drawer style shoulder joints, new weapon holding hand designs, closed fist ) have been fantastic and a step above the already good Gaim series. I can't wait for the PB Ryuga-Femme-Verde 3-Pack later this year

Okay, having just raved about how much I really enjoyed Ryuki 3, this will probably be the last Chronicle set I pick up. I'm really happy with where my So-Do collection is at right now, so to me I've gotten everything I would ever want from the line. I think the next line would really have to blow me away for me to come back, but I'll still eagerly follow all the new developments and series (my money is on Ghost! )

What about everyone else? How many more shows would you like Chronicle to tackle before you call your collection finished ?

Is anyone planning to pick up the Kamen Rider Shodo XX set? It's a box of 10 and I'm interested in the doubles if they are Zero One and Kuuga Mighty, and possibly RX.

As mentioned at the end of last weeks' blog (recapped here, it's Neo Grasshopper: https://twitter.com/DaiSoDoPop/statu...67585845141507), they've got something big to share this week. Given the Ryuki's done, the next Chronicle is likely to be revealed tonight. Ghost would be great and make a lot of since right now.

For those that have never noticed, Chronicle alternates between Heisei phase 1 and 2. In order of release, we've had: W, Den-O, OOO, Kuuga, Gaim, Ryuki. So logically the next series will be a phase 2 series. We can narrow it down a lot. Start by removing Ex-Aid, Build, and Zi-O since they have SO-DO (though on a long enough timeline, I'm sure Chronicle will make these). Drive is releasing in Shodo-X later this month, so strike that to. There's been fast turn arounds, but not that fast. Wizard and Fourze were just in the last released wave of Shodo-X, but I'd be willing to call those a maybe since Ryuki had a fast turn around from Shodo to SO-DO. Then there's Ghost, who is the only main Rider not in Shodo and/or SO-DO at all.

So TLDR: Ghost most likely, Wizard and Fourze are barely a maybe, Shodo Drive hasn't even released yet, and the rest are already in SO-DO and would be the wild cards choices.

I definitely want it to be Ghost just so I can have a better toy of Ghost. Hope to see Billy the Kid at retail. Putting the trends and patterns of candy toy aside, I want Chronicle Kabuto pretty badly because it feels like it's going to be the only way I'm getting a new TheBee, Gattack, and Masked Forms. Also the roster is just right that they could make all at retail (though I assume the movie Riders would still be PB).

That's a pretty sweet line-up of Riders too, all in the retail wave with both Masked and Rider forms. Plus, we're guaranteed Dark Kabuto later, probably with Kick and Punch Hoppers. And then I guess the movie Riders?

I'd also assume/hope that Hyper Kabuto would be in a 2nd retail wave!

I don't like it, but mark my words, movie Riders will be PB. Wave two can easily finish the in show Riders and forms. Hyper Kabuto, Dark Kabuto, Punch and Kick Hopper. That leaves room for one more figure and I'm guessing ZECT Trooper maybe with some effects for Hyper if there's still extra room.

Wow I'm so excited for this set! That is one hell of a wave. Also it might just be the detail of the undersuit but these SO-DO look like higher quality than previous releases. I mistook them for SHODO-X at first (but the stickers are a dead giveaway).

I'm also happy to see we're getting Kamen Rider Birth in the Converge line.

Has anyone bought any of BBTS "random assortments" for So-Do? I'm looking at Zenkaiger wave 2 but want to know what I'm getting into

BBTS just send you an unopened case like AmiAmi would and are covering their asses in case it is actually random. In this case, it's not. Zenkaiger YU-DO 2 is a full set plus two extra Twokaisers and one extra of the grunt.

I've been getting more into the So-dos and Shodo's lately. I love these toys. Excited for the Kabuto ones.
