Every episode of Blade I watch I kinda wish I went with Den-O instead.

Watched episodes 15 and 16 of Blade. Garren is a total badass! Leangle is ominous and I am intrigued with more of the developments of Chalice. I just love Blade's personality.

Also because it was a friend's birthday he wanted to Marathon a Kamen Rider of his choice so we watched Den-O and the first 8 episodes were hilarious, awesome and great. I love Momotaros and Ryotarou. Really great characters to it.

That right there, everything you just said, is rubbish. It's BORING. That's not how you write the main villain. Like I said, what's stopping them from just taking his deck away?

None of that makes for an interesting character, though.

Nothing he does is fun to watch. That's all just "I'm a bad guy." He's has no personality. He's a cardboard cutout.

Also, thanks for the spoilers. Tags don't work when you're quoting. Now I have another reason to utterly despise this "character" and enjoy Ryuki less overall.

But Zolda is nicely rounded. He's sympathetic, but you could take his smug self-interest and apply it to Ouja minus any illness or "I'm not such a bad guy" moments and have a much better character.

You guys keep describing actions, which is my fault because I say he doesn't do anything. That's not quite the best wording. What I mean by that is as a character he has nothing to him. He works for the plot and nothing more. He's not a person, he's a plot device. Nothing he does is for the sake of his character, it's all just for the heroes to react to. You keep describing Ouja purely in how he affects the Rider war, but not Ouja himself. Nothing on your list really tells me about who he is besides "he's a bad guy" which, sorry, but I kind of expect more from characters who aren't rubber monsters.

Everything you said would be really awesome if it was applied to someone with personality. This isn't even a fault of the actor, since he is pretty good and I shudder to think how even less entertaining he'd be with a bad one. But there's nothing to him. As annoying as "I'm feeling vexed" was, at least it was something that hinted at a disturbed perception, like maybe he was emotionally unstable, but wouldn't you know it, it's been dropped. That'd be an interesting character, if he was usually just a calm threatening type that violently lashed out unpredictably. But no, he's completely predictable. Every scene he's in I know exactly how it will play out because he's is a two-step plan and one of the steps is optional.

I think I'm gonna watch episode four of Den-O, if I enjoy it I might drop Blade.

Does anyone know where I can watch Ryuki subbed? Toku central had all of their episodes taken down

Can't remember what Den-O four is. Everything before Kintaros (the yellow guy) is kind of blurry. But I guess I liked it if I kept going after initially being cold to the show.

BTW, this "Megumi" is kind of annoying. Then again, reporters/journalists/I WILL REVEAL THE TRUUFF-type people always are. I guess I got used to the completely pointless and under-developed reporter lady being a half-decent journalist I forgot such archtypes existed.

People have been saying to stay away from Tv Nihon subs but the Ryuki sub I found on youtube was by them and that's the only one I can find.

Exactly, and he's the best character in the show. Among the staggering amount of black and white characters, he's a full-on grey and it's awesome.

Then go for it. TVNihon's subs are only unpreferable because they don't translate a lot of honourifics and can sometime smake sentences sound disjointed and unnatural by translating them too literally.

Perfectly legible and undertsandable, though.
