Still, this is great. Guess I may hold off on shipping Slash for a while until something piques my interest and pops up. |

Zenmarket confirmed the purchase for Demons and Genius. I did the math and Zen was only a couple bucks more had I gone with Hobby Genki, shipping excluded. Ultimately I went with Zen because there are a couple second-hand items I'll be bundling with those later
I'm very glad these are releasing on the same month. Well, my wallet isn't happy, but it makes bundling and shipping cheaper |

Sure was a good thing everyone bought that overpriced Ichigo on P-Bandai since it led to more KR Figu...

But I would buy the hell out of an Urataros Imagin tho, considering Den-O's popularity, maybe it's within scope? Quote:

Dropping a little early in some places.
Revice being between Saber and Zero-One in height is the attention to detail that I love. https://livedoor.blogimg.jp/hacchaka...e500e438-s.jpg https://hacchaka.net/archives/52078603.html |

Why? Because there's alot to consider when it comes to things like this. Assuming that the Black Ichigo figure selling out within 2 hours was enough to prove to Bandai Japan and Toei that offering more figures to the US was a good idea, there's still matters they need to discuss such as:
The list goes on. The fact of the matter is unless some official statement is made or we start seeing alot more P-Bandai figures pop up, we won't know for sure within such a short time span. Even getting more shirts out of Toei and Bandai took a bit of time after their initial wave, which was obviously successful given we're still getting Kamen Rider clothes ever since then. All I'm saying is, be patient. |
Also, like, didn't the account admit the whole "Buy this Ichigou repaint as proof of Kamen Rider interest" was a bad attempt at promotion, not a serious thing?

These figures, even the dbz shf offered on pb u.s are made to order just like for japan and every other territory with a pb webshop. All figures that are sold via pb u.s are actually additional runs pressed for pb h.k, which is where all u.s orders come from. Pb u.s is just a nerfed version of pb h.k that we are allowed access and that bluefin manages. All pb u.s orders ship together in bulk to bluefin who ships out each individual one to buyers. Even when it launched during the Tamashii Nations World Tour 10th anniversary in like 2017 or 2018, they said exactly this. Considering that these are made to order, that the infrastructure is already there to produce and sell them, just like with dbz shf on there, there is some reason to be even a little pissed when they've been stringing along consumers for a while now, telling fans to buy overpriced merch through them to show support or whatever, and the moment we get a pb figure that they promoted in the shittiest way mind you, and it sells out in less than a day, we get hardly any follow up. This isn't hard to do. Especially when bluefin is part of Bandai Japan, not a middleman, but a subsidiary. And essentially defending a company thats making crap decisions, and leads consumers on, isn't really effective. Its a company, it has no feelings, and looses nothing from being criticized. I definitely agree that he shouldn't be this angry this quick, but he does have a point that he's not begging for a handout, and is actually hyped to buy direct. Bluefin have made a lot of promises and have made a lot of progress, but a lot of their decisions as of late have been questionable at best. I think we should wait a bit longer before going Full-On crazy since that figure sold out like 2-3 weeks ago. But being a bit pissed at like how things have been handled is sort of warranted. |

As well, just because there are ways for these things to happen, does not mean those things happen immediately. The essential point is that there's still alot of discussions to be had and business decisions to be made. I'm not saying no one is allow to criticize Bandai. What I AM saying is be patient, because frankly, there's alot of things that companies, and especially representatives of companies, aren't allowed to disclose to the public, whether we like it or not. If someone wants to be mad, fine. That's their prerogative. However, I am also allowed to disagree with the reasoning behind it, and also offer insight into why these things take time, no matter how small or easy to handle they might seem to others. |
Quote:
You have the right to disagree, but a lot of those questions dont apply to pb, I'll give it to you that he shouldnt get mad so quick, as i mentioned prior, since that shfs sale was only a month ago like you said. But that doesnt change that its 1. Really easy to do, even from a sales perspective and 2. they still deserve ciriticsm for how at times theyve been essentially forcing the fandom to buy their releases in the hopes of pb. I get it like hype wise and to generate interest they can show to japan, but it still feels shitty. Especially when h.k is getting Evil and they could just open up orders on our end to produce some more figures. |

Also, no one is forcing anyone to buy anything. Many complained they didn't like how the Black Ichigo figure was used as the measuring stick. Heck, I didn't like the choice, personally. As such, I didn't buy it. Simple as. Does it suck that it wasn't what many people wanted? Absolutely. But it's just what we currently have to go on, and we have to wait and see if Bandai/Toei decides it's worth it or not. |

2. And you know much about Bandai's inner workings and politics? Ive been to almost all of bluefins trade events and was at the launch of pb u.s. i think i know what im talking about lol. But go on call me "clueless" . What i detailed up there is exactly how pb u.s works, and their operating practices for the site in terms of sales. As for why they dont do it when they so easily can given everything. I couldnt tell you, i dont work for them. But neither does anyone defending them for not bringing anything over yet. I believe you have full right to be pissed, especially as a consumer, and to voice your frustrations without someone coming in to invalidate your frustrations. Ive been pissed off myself, i really wanted to be able to get p-bandai shf just as bad as anyone, and am left wondering why it hasn't happened yet. Its funny that the same ppl that say ppl can be critical of something are the ones being critical of ppl who are critical of said thing. So essentially policing your opinion. What irony. |

Hacchaka now has the duo reviewed and posted on his website. And I'm needlessly refreshing my emails to see if amiami has the invoice for them. :lol
Anyway, Revi looks great! A step up from last year's Saber, as expected since he has no weapon and is a simpler design. The pink is suit accurate from what I'm seeing, but I can't help but prefer the silver-y shiny pink he had in the other prototypes. His head's a little big to my taste but it's ok. Vice to me is a bit of a mess. Most only on his head. His face is narrower, the are drooping down, and the rex eyes are clear purple instead of metallic paint. There are things like how the shoulder armor moves breaks up his shoulders, but I can fix that. Still pretty good for both of them tho. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...6848/Baisu.png https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FMcKNQ3a...pg&name=medium |
Also the white hair parts of Vice's head are flat, not raised.

My HLJ Revi and Vice entered my Private Warehouse earlier today, I just hit ship. They're not perfect, but I'm still excited for them

Seihou W will be reissued once more under the Fuuto Tantei Memorial title.
Retail version this time, probably https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...LxakAgDsCs.png |
On one hand, good. On the other - it'll sell out in seconds anyways.

Put in my shipping request for Revi an Vice from Anime-Export. I've had much better luck getting new items through them, and their shipping is on par with amiami so far. Not sure how long you can keep items in their warehouse though

I use AE for Web-Exclusives and some retail releases which were, as you said it, easier to acquire there then on AmiAmi. With the pandemic being a thing, my customs office enforced some dumbass rules last year, and knowing that AE packages get flagged by them most of the time I avoided shipping too often and only bundled it after months of letting the items sit in the warehouse. I think it was 4-5 months that time? I'm currently doing the same over the winter (hopefully for the last time, huh?) and the oldest items sitting there is Ultraman Z which came out in September 2021 I think? So up to 6 months seem to be no problem. |
