I'm watching Digimon Adventure on Nick... Why the hell does Fridgymon have the voice of Robin Williams? XD And why didn't i ever notice this before?

AKB0048 episode 10

Not using spoiler tags, since no one here watches it.

AKB0048 finds there way to the Mushroom Hill zone (and we get a Toad reference). Apparently there are some mushrooms on this planet that make you hallucinate. They find some monsters, and they sing to connect with them (I really should've seen that coming, considering this show is co-directed by Shoji Kawamori). It was a very good episode, but I really felt the hand of Kawamori during this episode.

HOLY CRAP!!!! Chieri's dad just got assassinated! I know he was a man with twisted ambitions, but dang...this show never had this much blood. Who assassinated him? It was good that we got some more backstory on Chieri, though.

Alright! Time to take back Akibastar! Wow, the entire populace decided to turn into a bunch of jerks...

er...anyway. Things got kind of dark. Apparently Earth was blown up. I hate it when space-age fiction does that...and AKB48 was referenced, which was cool.

EDIT 3: What an ending! The concert/fight was really cool and very well done in this episode. AKB0048 took back Akibastar with the hopes and dreams of the nameless people in the galaxy, and yay! Yuuko returned! She needs a figma, or Figuart, or something. Nagisa became the new Acchan, and Chieri became the new Center Nova. I hope it gets a third season, but I fear that it may not, considering there was no teaser like there was last season.

I will once again rant, The fact that this show has no toys aside from 2 Figuarts ZEROs is a crime. Even after 2 seasons, nothing. For crying out loud...how hard would it be to make figmas? If a show like Strike Witches can get figmas, why can't this show? (Yes, I dislike Strike Witches, panty shots on a 14 year old just ain't right. Even more so considering how much *ahem* detail they draw in.) I just want my figma Nagisa and Yuuko. :I I don't even need figures of the robots (which would be awesome, for those of you who haven't seen the show, the robots look like a VF-25 mixed with a Quadluun Rae, and Machine Itasshar-ized) I would be more than happy with even one articulated figure. *sigh* ok, rant over.

Do the Macross Movies take place in the same Universe has Robotech?

I assume you mean Do You Remember Love? because that's the only Macross film that would even remotely connect with Robotech.

And no, DYRL is a retelling of the series.

I'm asking about all of them. Because they have one or two on the Netflix, I think. And I didn't know if they were the same universe or what.

Nah, after all only the first third of Robotech is Macross-related. I've never watched Robotech but I'd imagine there'd be too many inconsistencies to make it work.

No, not even the non-canon one. Macross and Robotech are two completely different shows save for the "Macross Saga" part of Robotech being the original Macross series (even then they changed some things, like the ending). Other than the original Macross series, nothing from the Macross franchise is part of Robotech franchise and vice versa.

Robotech is related to Macross the same way Voltron is related to Golion, which is the same way that Mighty Morphing Power Rangers is related to Zyu, Dai, and Kaku. The footage is the same, but the characters, plot, etc are all different.

Robotech is actually three different Japanese series combined into one story, Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada. None of them have any relation with each other in Japan.

Voltron is compiled of two series, Beast King Golion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV, which again, have nothing in common with each other.
