Haruto is one of my favourite Rider's (until the last ten or so episodes but that is a discussion for another life) so I was so excited to get my Flame Styles. It was such a gorgeous figure, it looked even better than in the show! Then the wind changed direction (or something equally banal) and his leg fell off, his driver fell off and he came apart at the waist. Since then, I haven't been able to hold him together, he's like some kind of magnetic jigsaw in a room full of magnets.

However I still wanted a Haruto in my collection and as I didn't know of the WAP quality at the time (I still might get a wap Flame Styles as they are like 1000 yen on Mandrake) I just upgraded him. I'm glad I did though, he's a much more solid figure, the form is gorgeous, the dragon part and stand are awesome additions and I just really love him.

I like how streamlined the renewal Black is.

It's exactly what I think of when I think Figuarts.

I'm disappointed to learn that BH does not come with a stand, just the piece to hold it on top of one. -_-

He is gorgeous, but he also feels weirdly cheap, really lightweight like the older figuarts used to feel. Also with the lack of accessories there isn't a lot you can do with him, display or play.

To be fair, it isn't like Black used anything but his fists outside of one scene at the very end of the show. There isn't anything to give him. Fists are all he uses, so that is all he need.

I am quite happy with the hand selection this time around, as it looks like they made his hands from the show.

I just kinda wish they gave him some effects parts so you could replicate his epileptic fit inducing powers.

I do agree there. Or even a stand, but Bandai seems to be cutting back when they can. I'm honestly surprised we got as much as we did with both KyoryuRed and Blade. Unfortunately, I don't expect to see any of the other rangers/riders from those series to have so much. Hell, they didn't even bother giving Battle Hopper a stand, just a holder for one. -_-

Releases really are very inconsistent aren't they? Flame Dragon got a boat load of hands, his weapon in both modes, a stand AND his dragon piece. Kamen Rider Beast for example...well his accessories came in an entirely separate set... and these are the same line, like dafuq.

Bikes don't ever come with stands anymore. That last one to do so was I believe Guard Chaser. Ever since Machine Decader they've been using those wheel stands so I don't know why anyone would be surprised to see that instead of a Tamashii Stage.

Probably because the original Battle Hopper came with a stand, so I assumed the new one would come with the same one. Hell, this new BH doesn't even come with hands for Black either.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they raised the price of the Figuarts by $4-5 and gave us a specialized stand like they did with the Wizard forms.

Having just played around with my renewal Black, I honestly don't care that he doesn't come with much. This is one of the best designed toys I own. The level of detail for the price I paid is simply incredible.

...because they come with Black? What did you think the gripping hands were for, making lewd gestures with the Figuarts? They were designed at the same time, why would they come with the bike, that makes absolutely no sense.

Yeah the shoulders look broken on mine.

The shoulder pads are actually on the arms instead of on the neck collar. Shadowmoon had that in his design. When the pads are attached to the collar, the joints remain hidden, but on the arms, now you can see the separation on the joint.

I could have pushed them back more so it wasn't so obvious. But I forgot.

So I think my Advent cards are disappearing or something. I cannot find Ryuki's Sword vent card and one of Gai's cards have disappeared (his instructions says he has 5 cards, but only 4 are in the package when I opened it today and I haven't touched his package since he first came out. Yet, I suddenly have a duplicate Sword Vent card for Ouja.
