I actually like the R-Gyagya a bit more than Susumu's various Gyans. As a modified R-Jarja it's a stroke of brilliance of both naming and execution. Not sure what else would strike a balance like that so well.

Yeah I like the Knight motiff it had going on too.

I think it's still gonna be around. I forget what the damage level was set to, but if you look at the end of this new episode the damage was set to B and Build Burning had it's arm again. I think the damage shown is an illusion created by the particles and the damage setting.

She could perhaps use another Gyan inspired suit. Something developed from that basic design like the R-Jarja was. The Galbaldy Alpha, or RF Gyan are designs that would lend themselves very well to her general style.

Honestly the weak damage level settings are kind of pissing me off. We know Sekai isn't a great builder and has so far built a whole one kit ever. The low damage levels are an easy excuse to never have to show him learn and grow as a builder. Which is sad. Even Reiji had to become a great builder.

To be fair though Reiji only built a gunpla once which was during the nationals as well. I'll give you that he did learned from Sei and others over time to build his gunpla too.

Also was that a black Turn A Gunda in the preview?!

Side note I pre-order Ni Hu Brave Build Fighters, the thing looks great.

The Turn A's shield already looks like a surfboard, so it's not much of a stretch. I wonder if we'll get a kit? I assumed the MS A Gundam teased a while back was a Turn A custom, but it seems it's just the Amazing Red Warrior.

Not only does it not let them grow as builders, but that means not that many big upgrades as well. When a character from the first half of the season shows up in the world tournament or down the road, it's no surprise what they're using because it'll be the same. Only reason to upgrade is to beat the heroes.

The fight was great, but I do agree the finale itself wasn't astounding.

I interpreted it more as a different mindset between PPSE and Yajima, PPSE is more about earning money as such the more damage the models receive the better it is for them, while Yajima is more into the hobby part, at least imo.

Actually, they made a new high grade Turn A that came out last year.

I don't mind the weak damage settings myself because I know that if it were me: I'd be hesitant to play Gunpla Battle knowing that something I poured my heart, soul, sweat, and tears into making could end up shattering into a million pieces.

Unless the Black Turn A is used by an even semi-relevant named character, then no. And since we are getting one crazy colored one like that from a single episode character, I'd say the chances of seeing another for an actual named Build Fighter are low. So probably no BF version of the Turn A in kit form. At this point we're more likely to get Sakashita's Amethyst Victory Gundam.

Well, a primer or base coat is always recommend as it helps spot any noticable flaws in the kit not to mention it'll help the paint stick with less layers.

As long as it's the same peg into poly cap connector type set up that a majority of the SEED HGs have it should be okay.

Origin is also getting a dub. This gives me hope for dubs of any other Gundam shows that don't have an English dub.

So I'm currently building the Master Grade Gundam X and while unboxing, I get to this sheet here which are suppose to be for the reflectors:

So, I ordered an HG RX-78-2 to give away for a gift exchange next week. But I need some help on how to present it. Do I just take out the sprues and throw the finished model and accessories in the box it came in or do I put it in a different box?

Its a random gift exchange, and none of the people who I will potentially be exchanging it with will have model experience and I'm not gonna buy nippers and a knife for somebody and be a dick about it.

Plus, it makes the gift feel more sentimental when someone went out of their way to buy it along with building it and panel lining it.

Finished snapping the MG Gundam X, it was a simple yet fun build easily one of my favrioute master grades! Only complaint is that the hip joints on mine are kinda loose so I had trouble balancing it. Otherwise, it's easily my favrioute kit. Helps that it isn't as fragile as the HG was.
