In a piece of overlooked news, there's going to be a new 616 Peter Parker book about Spider-Man's high school days.

I got my Silver Surfer today.
Positives: Except for the legs, the joints are quite tight, especially the ab crunch. The paint job is really nice and I love the use of the blue around the silver. Another thing that rocks are the magnets in his feet as the board stays nice attached to the legs (as long as you don't hold him by the board, at least) that I have never been able to get a peg to do. I also love that it allows him to be moved into different poses while riding the board. The Howard the Duck figure is a nice bonus. Negatives - The legs are loose, especially in the knees, so he has trouble balancing in certain poses. This could have been avoided if they had used ratchet joints like Hasbro uses today. Also, it seems like the silver paint is rubbing off, especially in his shoulder joints. The magnet in his left foot is scratching the board and has taken some paint off already (as you can see in one of the pictures). Despite my issues, this figure is awesome!! I'm quite glad that I got him even though I think he was $5 more than he was worth. The paint job is fantastic and I just love that I have a fully posseable 6 inch Surfer, and one who can actually stay attached to his board for more than a minute. http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pskqugmq5l.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psjyr9grli.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psr7fuc2bc.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3nk06lgk.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8c94zi79.jpg |

Oh god, the new Hitman movie has a worse score than FF.

At this point it's almost like Fox WANTS to become bankrupt. Which is a pity since I get sick of seeing "Disney should buy x!" topics all the time. C'mon Fox, get your shit together! |
Fox only seems to care very little on their own franchises. Unless it's X-Men, Planet of the Apes or Alien/Predator then they don't give a damn. They even screw up on Die Hard 5 when they hire both a bad director and writer for the movie. Fox also likes to make movies on the last minute since both Dragon Ball Evolution, FF and Hitman: Agent 47 where both made to avoid losing on to the license.

Really looking forward to seeing how Widow's plays out.
|
Yeah me too. Especially how Hawkeye will deal with it since they are pretty close friends.
And Robo Redwing for the win. |
Uh... where is Thor?
I have to say, this really doesn't feel like a war if it only revolves around 11 people. |

And when those 11 people (with a couple minor exceptions) have powers equivalent to a small army I think "war" might qualify. |

"a state or period of armed hostility or active military operations" thats the definition of a war and thats exactly what we are going to see in the movie. |
BTW, where is Scarlet Witch?
And are they seriously going to introduce Black Panther and whomever that blonde girl is in CW? |
The blonde Girl is Sharon Carter and she was already in Winter Soldier. And yeas they are introducing Panther in this movie.

With Ant-Man & Hawkeye on the same team they HAVE to use this bit at some point:

Is anyone just not excited for the Marvel movies? Like this seems to be not that great, the sides seem small for my taste. This seems like it'll be a disappointment. At least BVS will have two of the most iconic super heroes fighting. This looks like shoehorned for money.
|
Well they cant expand the sites because those are the major heroes we have in this universe. plus Shield and the normal Government still exist in this unsiverse to back both sides up.
BVS having Batman and Superman is not really a sign of them trying. Its just what it is. marvel cant do the same because they dont own Batman and Superman. And its not really "shoehorned for money" when its the natural progression the whole MCU was taking. |
