You wanna know what didn't help Greco? Tomino fans being huge assholes towards any criticism about the series. I have never seen a bigger collective of spiteful venomous apologists in all my life.

Yes, it really was. By the end the most enjoyable part of watching it each week was tearing into it with Den-O :lol

Do not watch Victory Gundam. It is the disaster created from Bandai's purchase of Sunrise (the studio behind Gundam), Tomino's revenge on Bandai by trying to sink Gundam, and remnants of the canned F91 series crammed into one series.

Also doesn't help that it was all Tomino's fault on this one. Everyone had the excuse that Victory was being made under the purchase of Sunrise and that Turn A was super different. But Bandai let Tomino do his thing this time and he messed it up really bad.

From what I've seen, Age isn't bad. Just not all that special.

SEED is bad because the writing staff is pretty much nonexistent and they felt the need to give the main character a nuke cancelling canceller.

G-Reco is more or less consistently bad, AGE on the other hand simply is inconsistent, it has an average start, then an increase in quality from there and the last arc is more or less universally hated.
But yeah, even being longer I'd rather rewatch AGE than G-Reco.

Hold up, Tomino actually apologized for the series? Are you seirous? Hopefully he also apologized to the voice actors of the show by demanding that they be trained how to properly voice a character.
