Just watched super girl season 2 episode 1and I love this version of superman he has the charm of the dinner and reeves super man

Flash was fantastic this week. Absolutely loving this season so far.

Okay, I went in wanting to hate this premier so I could write off the entire show due to them changing locations, but damn, that was one freaking amazing episode. Everything that was wrong with Season 1 already seems like it is gone. Not just that, but holy shit, this dude IS Superman. Like the actual Superman. Not Supercrybaby. Not SuperDeadbeatDad. The actual, one and only, Superman. How is it this show got Superman right in one episode when WB couldn't get him right in two movies that also came 3 years apart?

Anyway, interesting stuff although I don't buy Lena's good girl crap. She's a Luthor, she is definitely a villain. Can't wait to see Metallo next week.

The only issue I have is the relationship between Kara and Jimmy going all CW. What the fuck?

Flash:

Just watched last night's episode and damn that was a great episode. That more than made up for the lackluster season premier. I really love the talk Jay had with Barry and I'm looking forward to see how things continue developing from that discussion. Dr Alchemy seems like a cool villain, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be Felton's character (why does that guy play a douchebag in everything?). Although, isn't he the dude that was just introduced in Rebirth? I don't have access to my Rebirth issue at this exact moment in time to take a look.

So more pointless angsty melodrama that makes both characters look like whiny idiots to try to appeal to teenage girls?

Kind of. We'll see where it goes. Maybe Flashpoint effected that in the same manner it (most likely) effected the opening to the episode.

Tonight's Arrow episode was an improvement over last weeks. Ragman was pretty awesome and he isn't a character I thought I would ever see be done in live action. Kudos to that. I would love to see Ollie recruit Wildcat to be part of his team as it has been a while since we've seen him.

Prometheus huh? The only Prometheus I'm familiar with is the giant.

Oh yeah, the fight choreography was quite good, but they really need to stop the shaky cam and jump cuts.

Just came back from a cinema screening of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders

Holy DC Animated Movies Batman, this movie was perfect. Spoilery stuff is spoilery, so be warned though I am tagging it.

The writers just got it. They knew exactly what made the original series so ridiculously loveable and just went with it. It was so great hearing West, Ward and Newmar again, and the guys they got to do Joker, Penguin and Riddler absolutely nailed it.

The homages and tributes are just wonderful. All three Catwomen actresses! Egghead, King Tut and co all make appearances!

But it isn't just Batman '66 they loving riff on, its the wider Batman universe as well. Adam West saying the "This is an operating table, and I'm the surgeon" line from TDK is the BEST thing ever. And then just when I think that can't be topped the ending completely makes fun of The Dark Knight Rises. It's just so beautiful.

I can completely forget The Killing Joke ever happened now I have this film in my life. Before it started I was trying to cast my mind back to the last REALLY good DC Animated Feature (which in my opinion was The Dark Knight Returns). This was them back on form again.

The ONLY thing it was lacking was the original theme with the lyrics. They use a lyricless version though, so I'm not sure whether that was a rights thing or not.

I'm glad to hear it was good. I was eager for the film, but also pretty hesitant because intentional camp is something one can screw up quite easily :lol

Justice Legaue wrapped up filming a few days ago. All those anticipated scenes we're all waiting for have been filmed. I'm just hoping now that they have the footage, they can put together another teaser.

I have to agree on this and I hope the sAmerican team does two face batman 66 film that coming. Cause I loved this.

So while I'm Happy Jesse Quick is back and a speedster, I'm also disappointed her dad made her costume, and now she'll have pants. What, I can't appreciate a speedster's legs? Of course it be weird if her dad left those on her costume.

Flash was another pretty solid episode. I loved it when Harry started mocking Barry about changing the timeline, especially when they first enter the speed room. Magenta was kind of a cool Flash villain even though she made me think of Scarlet Witch from X-Men Evolution a bit. We'll see what they do with her, I just hope they don't kill her off. I'm going to guess that Wally is going to get his speed at the mid-season finale in Dec and we'll come back with him either already as Kid Flash or waking up from a coma depending on how it happens. I also wonder how long it will be before McDouche finds out that he has been bossing the Flash around the entire time.

Anyway, can't wait to finally see Mirror Master next week. HELL YEAH!!!

lol That was such a great episode all around.

Okay, I have some really bad mixed feelings towards this episode. Every scene with Harry was great. The stuff dealing with Barry and Iris' relationship was hilarious. Loved that Scudder has a history with Cold. On the other hand, I am not a fan of what they did with Mirror Master here. I've been waiting three seasons for him and the turned him into some loser metahuman. WTF?! Also, the girl that is playing Top was utterly useless. She definitely feels like she was only here to give Jesse something to do. I'm more interested in the Earth 2 Mirror Master than I am this moron. Hopefully, Dr Alchemy will break him out of prison and give him a costume, but right now, he left a lot to be desired. The stuff with Kaitlyn was cool though. My favorite line of the episode is "Mirror Master, BOOM!"

I do have a question though. What happened when Flash and Jesse were chasing after the duo? Comcast glitched up as Flash and Jesse were running up a building but then the screen froze for a moment and when it went back to normal Jesse was falling off a building, so Flash has to go and save her.

The scene with Harrison Wells from all the earths was probably the funniest scene ever in the Flash.

Not as good as the Mirror Master naming scene:lol

Though it's crazy to think that throughout Flash, Tom Cavanagh's played four versions of Wells each with their own unique personalities and quirks, he's definietly one talented actor.

Tonight's Flash was really nice. Sure, it was filler, but those are good to have every now and then, especially for shows that have to be a certain length. It also gave us some truly nice character moments with HR, Caitlyn, and even Barry's partner. Maybe Felton isn't playing a total jackass after all. Nah, something will come and ruin it in a few episodes. I think the monster being a hologram also worked out with its lacking CGI. Makes it seem legit. It was also a nice way of giving a message to kids that feel out of place or are bullied. Overall, great episode even if it will end up being one of the weaker episodes of the season.

Some questionable CG/green screen action, but the lasso looks better and I find myself finally excited for a DC film. Probably for the first time since either Batman '89 or Returns. Overall, I liked this better than the Comic Con one. I want to watch the heck out this sucker.

Knowing how dumb DC is with their cartoons and movies I don't have high hopes for this.

They could have made Wonder Woman like any other superhero movie set during modern time, but since they set it in World War I, I feel that it makes it really stand out.

Finally caught up on Supergirl.

Episode 2 - Something felt off, really off. The scenes with Superman were great, but everything that dealt with Cat felt forced and out of place. It was if it was saying, "We can't afford Lockhart anymore and need a reason to get rid of her, so this is how we are going to do it." That was horrible and really ruined the standout moments. Metallo was cool but I hope we see him come back later with a more robotic body. On the other hand, not sure I like the whole Cadmus being an Anonymus type thing.

Episode 3 - Was that supposed to be Volcana? Either way, it to was an okay episode. Better than 2, but still not as good as the premier. I do not like the lady they got to play Maggie and I'm really hoping they don't try to force on a romance between her and Alex (nor Mon-El and Kara for that matter).

Episode 4 - This was quite enjoyable. The lady they got to play Roulette was great, but what she was doing was down right inhuman. :p Drega was unexpected to see but kind of cool despite being nothing more than a brainless goon. I really liked the stuff with Wynn and Mon-El, that was hilariously funny. The fight club style was cool but seemed to be underplayed. There should have been more focus on the place. Thankfully, the show still knows what being a super hero adaptation is all about, fun. I still do not like Maggie though and it's hard to tell if they are making Alex fall for her or not, but they better not.

Unfortunately, tomorrow's episode looks stupid, like really stupid. I get the feeling the writers are really stretched thin with having four shows to work on and the quality is therefore really hurting. They need to can Legends now (still haven't watched what has aired of S2 yet) and end Arrow so they can go back to focusing on just two shows before the quality of Flash and Supergirl are compromised any further.

Don't get too excited. DC is the company that greenlit TTG so be prepared for heartbreak.

The creators are on board, though, where as TTG is written by people who openly admitted they don't know anything about the show.

This is great news! I actually started rewatching the series this past weekend, so this is pretty crazy that it's being announced now.

About time WB. About time.

We spent the night catching up on the season and it has has gotten better as its gone along. Episode 4 was really good and 5 was even better. I love that Felicity just came out and told Ragman the truth instead of brooding on it for the next 10 episodes. I'm also really shocked they already ended the Church storyline as I expected that to go on all season. Surprisingly, I've been enjoying the flashbacks in Russia too, which I haven't done since Season 2. I still can't say I am totally blown away by this season, but it is starting to move in the right direction. Still waiting for them to change its name to Green Arrow and the Outsiders though. Oh, I have no idea who The Human Target, so that was kind of cool for them to bring someone in that I'm assuming is really obscure.

I'm waiting for Prometheus to just say in a thick Russian accent, "Mr Queen, you killed my brother Viktor, now I show you how Mother Russia kills you."

Now to catch up on Legends...

Flash was insane tonight. My mind blew up when I saw the white speedster lightning. I doubted it would be Savitar honestly because I thought that he was just a scrapped idea that they replaced with the Rival. I wish Savitar would look more like his comic design but this version is still interesting. I'm dying to know who Alchemy is after that cliffhanger.
