I knew there were ulterior motives to this whole plan! I knew that (as is the case with most works of fiction) the Japanese government's plan wasn't a good one! It was mostly all fun and games up until this point, so it's a bit jarring to have it suddenly get all serious.

So Valvrave the Liberator ended today.

The series ended on a positive note all things considered…but it really is a series that I can't talk about without dropping serious spoilers. All I can really say is stick through the show at least through the first season as Season 2 was a huge marked improvement.

If you've been dying for a mecha anime that's different…well I can easily say give Valvrave a go.

So Blazblue Alter Memory is over and done with. I sat through all 12 episodes.

I have absolutely no idea what was going on through the entire thing.

It is undoubtedly the worst anime I've ever watched, and I really didn't think I'd ever see anything worse than Maken-Ki!

I didn't finish the Trigun movie last night, i was enjoying it don't get me wrong but i was so sleepy that i had to stop.
I think i'll watch it again soon.

Lol a friend was just telling me yesterday how it's one of the two series he watched on break so far and that he loved it. But is also a big fan of the game and my have some clear bias.

I dunno, I think I liked it more before Torture was revealed... And I don't like that he wasn't full explained before we moved onto From Beyond.

Yeah, I was really enjoying the early stuff and while I don't dislike what's going on now, it just doesn't feel right.

It's definitely one of those shows that only work if you are a fan of the game, they never explain anything, at all.

Kickass Flamenco was awesome, Rider Flamenco was... different, Sentai Flamenco is very wtf...

Samumenco is trying very hard to adapt all kinds of toku shows, so at some point I guess he'll end up fighting Godzilla.

Ok browsing crunchy roll on my iPad while taken a break from watching yu yu yuri season 2 on there I came across this anime called yurumate3dei and the opening gives me toku sentai vibe along with SD gundam design mecha robot with chibi girls and guys I like it so far so I'm going to keep watching. Also has any heared of the anime polar bear cafe

Mazinkaiser episode 1.

Hm...ok it was pretty good. I'm sure that it would make a lot more sense if I watched the previous 2 series, but I think I've got the gist of it. The good guys are fighting these bad guys, and this Ashura dude/chick (which kinda crepps me out) is one of the higher-ups and this Dohkutah Herru guy is the leader. Just, where did Mazinkaiser come from anyway? He just came out of nowhere. I still really don't like Mazinger Z's design. Mazinkaiser's is alright. Not as good as Mazinkaiser SKL, but still ok.

I thought Mazinkaiser was great fun myself but I'm also an older fan. ;)

Well, it's only the first episode, so I'm trying not to judge it just yet.

I've been watching Kyoukai no Kanata lately. I like it, but I wouldn't be able to explain why.

And now I just started the special episodeI don't think I'll care for much of it, I do love that it starts with Kirito talking to Kikuoka. He's a very interesting character and I'm looking forward to GGO even more now since we should get to see a good bit of him at the start.

So I started Attack on Titan today because I've heard lots of things about it and I was intrigued about it. I watched the first two episodes, and it feels like I'm watching a video game which is a good thing. Very dark, emotional and good characters so far. I love Eren, Mikasa and Armin so far. I am probably going to continue with this as long as I have the emotional strength for it.

This is the first anime I've watched in a while and I want to try and get back into it. I like the idea of this being about the Human Spirit, it's something that even though I love Dragon Ball Z was severely lacking.

To be fair, the end moral of DBZ was pretty much "if you're a human you aren't good enough to fight the big league enemies" :lol

Lol yeah pretty much, I like Dragon Ball a lot better than Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball Z basically destroys almost everything Dragon Ball was about.

I finally got around to watching Wolf Children today.

It was a really adorable movie, and I liked the down to earth approach compared to the other stories in the whole werewolf genre.

The whole film looked gorgeous on bluray, so if anyone has the means I suggest watching it in 1080p

I do not like Space Dandy.

It's a pilot. I'd give it till the 5th episode at least before I call it funny or horsecrap.

But we have a jackass with Jimmy Kirk's libido filling an Alien Pokedex with the help of an Ottsel and a robot buddy.

And a pilot is meant to grab people's attention.

Space Dandy was...interesting? :lol

It tries a bit too hard to be funny at times but on the whole I found it pretty amusing, the animation is gorgeous though so I'll definitely keep watching a bit longer.

So refreshing to watch something new dubbed as well. Gonna check out the Japanese version at some point just for comparisons sake but the English voices seemed to fit really well.

Trying to watch Kill la Kill and man am I confused after episode 1. Well... onto number 2!

We watched the first two episode last nigh and I am done with the show. It is just random nonsense with fanservice.

Speaking of fanservice, I watched Spandy Dandy last night. For a first episode, it was decent. The dub was excellent and the show was hilarious, but I still have no idea what the show is about. I loved the ending though, but I'm not sure it is a show I'm going to be willing to stay up until 1am just to watch. It was far better than Kill La Kill though as I could actually follow what was going on.

We also watched the first 8 episodes to another series called Michiko & Hachin, and it was pretty good. The dub cast does an excellent job of sounding like they belong in Brazil (obviously, the Jp do not) and the show is quite good.

Been watching Angel Beats... I love Iwasawa! :D

I think the villain of DBZ battle of gods would get along great with Discord.

Just finished watching the first episode of Buddy Complex and I really enjoyed it!

I thought it was gonna be Valvrave 2.0 because of how it used the high school theme but I wasn't expecting time travel to be involved too. The first episode was quite good and left a very positive first impression, enough to see where they go with this.

I definitely suggest that people give it a go.

Watching more and more clips from Dragon Ball Z…I kinda hit an epiphany with the series.

I will always have nostalgia for it, and the series will have a special place in my heart but maaaaaan…did it fall far from what the original was about.

It became less about martial arts and more about a flashy display of raw power…

It kinda makes you feel bad for characters like Tien and Yamcha whom get left behind in the dust pretty much.
