Interesting choice for a costume that never physically appeared in any media, only just the CGI remix bird in the Beyond Generations film. As a bonus, the remix parts are included with the figures instead of the usual accessory box

Okay I was thinking about SO-DO Chronicle Wizard and I realized that wave 1 will be flame, water, hurricane, and land styles with beast. Then Wave 2 would be the dragon styles with 2 accessory packs that include the dragon parts and beast's mantles. Wave 3 would be infinity, hyper, wiseman, and I've no idea actually. Then a bunch of p-bandai stuff for the mages, golden dragon infinity wizard and sorcerer.

Yesterday, a big Mandarake order order arrived. It's all this plus some more accessories and a book.

Finished up making a custom Super Patren 1. I've kept an extra Patren 1 for years because I figured one day I'd get a Super Lupin X and make this. This figure has a total of 1 sticker, the badge on the helmet. Head, arms, and legs are from Patren 1 and torso is Super Lupin X.

Outside painting the Lupin X parts into Patren 1 colors, I also had to paint all the black, orange, and a bulk of the gold. Even did a quick bit of silver to make those parts a bit more shiny.

While I was at it, I did some touch ups on my normal Patren 1. Mainly added a flat coat over all the red I had painted because it was really glossy.

Thanks. I remember way back when the YU-DO blog basically showed how to make this by assembling all the parts and suggesting paint. It was great.

So I realized we're actually almost hitting the halfway point of SO-DO Chronicle with Kabuto's release!
We have, Kuuga, Ryuki, Kabuto, Den-o, Decade (kind of), Double, OOO, and Gaim. That's 8 of 17 Pre Ex-Aid series.
I'm wondering how the SHODO releases affect the SODO releases tbh. Cause Blade has a pretty complete SHODO set, so I don't expect to see it in SODO anytime soon, what do you think of that?
Also realizing with the new 10 piece sets Faiz will literally be just 1 wave, so I feel that up its odds of happening sooner. Hibiki feels really easy because the designs would fit easily-ish into the two box system, but god I have no idea how the wave distribution would work? any of y'all got thoughts on that?
Any hopes for the line going forward? What riders do you wanna see post kabuto?

In my opinion you have only to look at them doing Kabuto - a series also relatively recently covered by SHODO - to see what they might consider a cut-off date. I think they might do a heisei 2 series next though, perhaps Drive

I'm sure they want things to have breathing room so it isn't likely on the shelves at the same time, but I don't think there's a set rule beyond don't make the same form in both at the same time.

I think they could make several Ghost waves, if they can figure out how to keep the ab crunch alongside the parka

I would also say Wizard is a solid choice for multiple waves, but the long skirt could be jarring if they just make them solid flaps on a hinge

The big issue with Ghost is the matter of the parkas; they'd probably want to do all 15 but it's probably not easily feasible throughout 3 waves. Only about 7 main forms though (4 ghost, 2 specter, 1 necrom) before movie stuff so there's a lot more room than usual, but it would probably have to be a thing of one parka per box

What I want from SO-DO Ghost is a set up where each Damashii comes with the extra bits needed so that the Damashiis can have their blank Ghost style bodies. It would need an extra head, and sticker options, which is way less than Kabuto Masked Forms need.

That'd be so nuts but also kinda amazing. If they did such a thing, I feel like it'd be more sensible for the exta parts to make to make the parka a standing guy, would come in its own singular release that people could repeatedly buy as many as they feel they need.

I love this idea! Ghost is gonna be a tough nut to crack when we get to it.

I mean, there's no way all the Damashiis will be made at retail, I just want them to be designed to be able do that regardless of how it's released.

None of Demons Genomes have been made and only 1 of Jeanne's has been. While Jeanne's are just weapons, Demons' are involved enough that I expect something like what Saikou's Powerful and Wonderful forms did in SO-DO. Demons could easily fill up 4 boxes plus most of the accessory boxes of a wave.

So looking at the blog some more, the Bracchio and Kong Remix parts are included with the Vice figures. Condor's Remix parts will also be included with their figures. There's set 2 boxes we haven't seen. If it's accessory boxes, we haven't seen anything from them, but it could also be another figure this time.

I use 5 x 7 inch Spartan Industrial bags from Amazon. They are bigger than I wanted but the Saber SO-DO are too big for other sizes, unless you want to store them with the sword-head removed.

I'll try to get a picture of my storage setup soon, but it mostly looks like that picture- bagged and standing up in rows in a plastic container.

So you can see I use slightly larger bags and just wrap them around the figure as extra padding (I put the accessories in the other side of the bag and wrap them so the accessories don't touch the figure and scratch the paint). But some of the older SO-DO that didn't have accessories fit into smaller bags.

The Vail's green colour really remind me of green colour in Kamen Rider Black RX action figures.

I can see that. I'm pretty sure they based these colors on Kamen Rider 4 since those are his pants or at least the design started with his pants in mind.

It's partly lighting. When inside or in the shade, Vail is more noticeably dark green than gray. Helps that in the Vail miniseries he's constantly next to military guys in virtually the same green. SO-DO's green is probably still to bright, but it probably was that color in the concept art (I don't think we have that art yet).
