Oh wow yeah that's def a female body mold of Zero-Two and is shorter. Don't know why they felt the need to do a 2-pk and including a stand doesn't appeal to me personally.

Comparison starts at 13:35 |
Looking over that video I'll admit I didn't realise that some paint apps were in fact missed -- the green buckle on the back of the belt being silver; the hips not being painted yellow just above where the legs end; and the lack of red lines on the lower legs. Though I think for me those wouldn't matter much -- the latter two I again completely failed to notice until this video and if I got the figure without watching it I probably never would have realised; and I think the silver buckle on the belt is actually an improvement even if it's not accurate! In fact the missing yellow makes the colour scheme on the figure specifically more coherent due to the yellow only being on the legs and not continuing up a separate part. Just sort of makes sense in my mind, you know?
Thank you for pointing this out to me, it's good to know about these kind of flaws; but it may actually have reinforced my decision if anything! |
Give me a min trying to find the first youtube video review I saw someone did when they 1st came out I believe it was Toyhaco. I know for Zero-One the neon yellow parts on his belt are left unpainted. I have the clear version of Horobi and the straps are unpainted
Edit: nevermind thanks for replying with the video MrWilliamGraham! |

Every new Zero One announcement reminds how exceptional the suit design is.
I'm super happy to see more female figuarts. This gives me the tiniest of hope that we may see a Sophia Calibur. |

SHF Upgrade is definitely gonna step in here... |
Will Izu-Two be available alone or only in the two-pack? I love Zero-One's design but not enough to own two. :lol
Also of course she's an exclusive. Was a regular Zero-Two ever teased or are we actually getting her first? |
Quote:
Regular Zero-Two hasn't yet been teased, I assume it's gonna be at the end of the line like Muteki, Grand and Genius. Gonna be real funny when we get it given we've already gotten 02 lol |

But who knows, maybe it is included either way. |
Man, Zero-One has the most releases from SHF in a while-28 figures (including Zero-Two releases) SO FAR ;)
|

Both are exclusives though, right? I guess it was too much to hope a technically movie-exclusive Rider gets a wide release. >_< |

Expecting anything but like the primary and secondary riders out at retail at this point is a pipe dream. Times have changed since the line's early days where practically half the cast could be retail releases.
|
Also gone is the days of seeing a series completed within a reasonable time frame...however I like what they seem to be doing with the Revice line where they're equally focusing on the Riders and key form upgrades.
I rather see the base form, super form, and final form get released along with the other Riders and then they can revisit or do other forms later on. |
I'm still confused by the distaste for exclusives. Unless it's an EXTREMELY popular character, they hang around far longer than a retail release, which will be gone within 10 minutes of it going up.
|
Still do cost more on the whole though.
|
I guess.
I'd just rather pay a little more and not have to fight AmiAmi's servers the second it goes up. |
If you miss the preorder window for exclusives you're stuck paying at least a 50% markup on the aftermarket. That's a problem for exclusives in general, but it's especially annoying for SHFs where the majority of characters are exclusives.

Absolutely THIS for me |
I will offer the devil's advocate that that generally just seems to happen for Seihous these days. The last normal mainline this really happened with was 01 and even there Vulcan stayed up for a good while -- Saber and Blades are still available multiple places and both Revi and Vice are still both completely available on AmiAmi. That might be due to Bandai actually fixing this shit but either way I think if we were to say, see, Live, Zero-Two or Espada at retail; it would probably be fine
|
I feel like in each line there's two or three webshops releases that shoot up in price, but the rest more or less hover around their original price? The Zero-One stuff that's not Horobi or Valkyrie hasn't reached triple digits. Even in Saber the newer releases like Kenzan, Buster, and Saikou are still around 7-8K
I don't think there wasn't anything from Zi-O going for 10,000 + |

I'm not a fan of how the 50th anniversary releases of Seihou Ichigo and Kuuga as retail releases have shot up quickly in price on Mandarake. I was never ever able to get an order in and even when they started showing up on Mandarake they were already listed at 9000 yen or above.
This makes me fearful of the 50th anniversary release of Decade at the end of this month. While that has indeed caused the original release seihou price to drop the cracked joints still exist on those so I rather see if this latest release will be plagued with the same issues |
Definitely a shame. I've started to consider 50th Ichigo myself but his being double the price is... so difficult to contend with

I'm glad I was able to grab Seihou Kuuga Rising Ultimate at 10000 yen recently before they raised the price to 13000 yen on there now.
It's really hit or miss like others have said with what soars in price or drops in price and how fast it happens. Even with rereleases apparently |
Looks like we are getting a Japanese Spiderman Marvel Legends figure.
https://i.imgur.com/6GIGUWi.jpg https://twitter.com/HasbroPulse/stat...08588069486592 I went back and forth on the Toei Spiderman SHF but this is actually better for me, because I like him, but not $100 like him. |

If that picture shows everything that the figure comes with then that is extremely disappointing, especially given the price increase.

https://news.toyark.com/wp-content/u...-18-22-032.jpg This website covering the streaming event suggests he comes with a pair of alternative hands, 2 webbings, and a web sling. |
Yeah, I'll pass. Not only do I already have the SHF(which is a fantastic figure), but I much rather would've had more hands than the web effects. The outdated articulation set-up doesn't help much either.
|
I have no nostalgia for the Japanese Spiderman and I have no love for Marvel Legends. Easy pass for me.

The reveals are Thunder Gale and Izu-Two. Noa Tsurushima makes a guest appearance too.
Thunder Gale is 7150 yen and releases on October. Izu-Two is to be commercialized. Ark-Zero is finally revealed. He comes with some stands for his malice katakana no holding hands, no hopper blade, no Calibur for Izu-Two Pain. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...62/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...36/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...28/unknown.png |
Order dates:
Revice - May 20 Arc-Zero - May 20 Zero-Two - June 1 |
Huh. Wonder why Izu-Two is a little later
